If your going to base your entire debate off hyperbole, then you best start accepting everything else.

Prove that Spidey's statement of 40x reflexes is hyperbole. Till then
he indeed has these reflexes. Have you seen mtv's spiderman? They have several times shown bullet time (like in the Matrix) where Spidey sees the bullets in almost still motion. The cartoon was written by a Spiderman writer (Bendis).

MTV spiderman? You know this is a Comic Book Debate forum.

Not a Video game (which has it own forum).

Or a movie (which also has its own forum).

Or a cartoon.....

Comic Book

The second you realize that is the second you may have a logical argument.

What are you talking about? Nearly every one here (even Mods) have no problem in us getting opinions from the actual writers. Whether it be interviews, cartoons, video games, or movies their opinions are still valid. And Bendis obviously believe that Spidey can see bullets in almost still motion, otherwise he wouldn't have wrote it and portrayed it.

That is true. But I don't think it is about the cartoon at all. His point is that his info came form a writer of Spidey. Just because that writer is writing for a cartoon instead doesn't take away from their knowledge on the very same character that they used to write about in the comics.

If the mods really said that then what is the point of a comic book debate forum? 😬

Oh and just for the reocrd, i never disagreed with your claim of spideys 40x relfexs, I asked for proof. Also when did spidey say this, was it before or after is depowerment?

All im saying is if you going to accept hyperbole then you also have to accept what he said about cap!

Understand?

So, I'm still waiting for one of these people to post a speed feat from Spidey means without a doubt he can move two to four times faster than Captain America.

They are going to use a cartoon....

Because you are still using comic book characters 😬 Even when you go back to the comics for proof, you have to consider more than just the artist views. Writers also hold a lot of weight as well. No matter if that writer no longer writes for comics or whatever the case may be.

Semi-acceptable. Non canon. Non canon. Non canon.

Read the rules.

I edited it. Sometimes that happens.

Then explain to me how he was able to squeeze off more than two more rounds while the first bullet was in the air. The bullets had to miss.

1. Red Skull is trained in firearms.
2. There are three bullets bouncing off Caps shield.

😐

So why was the guy still alive?????? You think its a coincedence that three bullets bounced off his shield?

The point is that even from comics alone Spidey's feats seem that he is faster than CA (at least twice). I've never ever seen CA clearly move out of the way of a bullet after the bullet was shown in the air in still motion. Never. All I've seen was ambiguous scans and feats showing that CA might be barely dodging bullets. Even CA scans where it depicts multiple images of him still makes him look very slow and sluggish to Spidey (I'm not lying). The scans more or less is showing his progression in movement (with little good speed) rather than super speed like Spidey.

Question: If Spidey can indeed see bullets in almost still motion then can he do the same for CA? (Note: answer doesn't matter whether CA can see Spidey in slow motion too).

The guy is alive because the first three bullets missed and CA blocked the next three. Otherwise it is possible for someone to fire off two more rounds when one is already in the air (must be slow bullets).

Red Skull is a trained Marksman. The guy was dead easy to shoot. 😐
