1st: I only made the tec plate shift calc AS a fanwanked version, that one was never meant to be taken seriously. And no matter how you cut it, island busting is what it is.
2nd: I have not flamed anyone 1st
thats Sado not wanting to look bad.
Your civil?
joking around
and acting like a hgeneral smart@$$
I seem to remember your unprovoked attacks on Remy...
3rd: When I left, it was intended to be permanently, the only reason I came back, was because of what V2D told me you said to him.
if you're getting bent out of shape over these things then you guys need to loosen up. the past few years of my life've been hell as well. and stop saying you came back like it means something given that its anything but a clean slate. you still have your grudges. and 20+ guys holding grudges against each other over f==king videogames is worse than palestine and israel fighting eachother over lies like islam and judaism when this hatred has been there for centuries before the advent of islam. its ridiculous.
4th: even with all that said, you've still never countered any points I made...

Did you ever even reply properly to those? No, you never did; all you did was hide behind a rhetorical wall of "You're name-calling!". Repeatedly, I might add, insisting on remaining so even after I've called you out on it more than once.
I believe one of my first instances of alleged "name calling"s on you was telling you that you were childish. You believe that you are not.
See, this is another reason why, Sado.
If you want to snidely bring me up in this fashion, fine, then go back and justify why you were right when you said that you weren't all those things that I told you, because right now you are doing the exact opposite.
Might want to think about what you're saying next time, before you start shooting your mouth off like this.

if you think he would use asura senkuu anytime you have to think again. cloud moves faster anytime and could levitate especially when he execute an omni-slash v5. let's just say he'll use it anytime. so, when would he attack cloud if he do so? it will be a matter of time before cloud slash him everywhere and leaves gouki's forehead behind
Also, I've established earlier that something must be fulfilled in order for Cloud to pull off a Final Limit Break, in this case a Limit Gauge. This was reflected in both the games, and the Advent Children movie, so it is assumed canon. Taken from a FFVII FAQ:
-What is a Limit Break?A Limit Break is a special attack or spell that you can only use after filling up your Limit Break Gauge. To fill it up, you must get attacked or have damage done enough. Then a Limit Break will take up your Attack spot for you to use.
As you can see, it is not an attack that can be pulled off at any time. Your point/assumption is completely moot.

What's your point, that an attack meant to have one specific attack doesn't do another? Silly, really. It's like arguing semantics.

Read what you just said, then smack yourself for not thinking, you do ealise that you've actually amped the feat, and not blunted it?

What? The first time we met, you actually agreed with me... the first thing we disagreed upon was the KOF vs SF stuff, and in that, you called me an idiot first...

for starters, i still joke with emperor about that BS i was pulling regarding grant shaking the earth. other times, i've corss checked and corrected myself AND apologized, i've conceded points and i've apologized for flaming anyone without reason. ask remulous and the others. in fact, just check your own inbox.
I admit when I'm wrong, ask DarkC, when I admitted I was mostly wrong about the MC stuff. Yes, I do admit when I am wrong, However, fighting games just happens to be my overall forte, and I havn't been proven wrong in almost anything I have said about them.

In those threads? they where unprovoked, to anyone who didn't see the stuff from other threads, like DarkC was, they would for all intents BE unprovoked...

-i like joking around
-i'm sarcastic (granted its hard to tell online)
-i don't take any of this too seriously since its fictional
-the jokes i crack and my sarcasm aren't supposed to be taken personally.if you're getting bent out of shape over these things then you guys need to loosen up. the past few years of my life've been hell as well. and stop saying you came back like it means something given that its anything but a clean slate. you still have your grudges. and 20+ guys holding grudges against each other over f==king videogames is worse than palestine and israel fighting eachother over lies like islam and judaism when this hatred has been there for centuries before the advent of islam. its ridiculous.
Yesss, all true, BUT, you still can't seem to grasp when someone is debating seriously, and you can see when this leads to unnessisary flaming...

Sado does admit that he's wrong, but only when he has no other choice and after he's been clearly proven wrong. Never have I seen him go out of the way to do it.
Yes, he in fact would use Ashura Senkuu a lot, it's his main avoidance move. Normal speed fight-wise Cloud is on par to Gouki's speed. Cloud can levitate mid-air(which is useless when it comes to melee fighting unless he wants to turn tail and retreat).
till when he'll use such a move? forever? no he won't. he must attack cloud in order to win this. and... you watch advent children didn't you? you should've know cloud's speed then.
As you can see, it is not an attack that can be pulled off at any time. Your point/assumption is completely moot.
gauge? did we use such a term on a real fight? that's in-game FAQ's. you know that cloud used braver when he fought bahamut sin while he hasn't taken any serious damage.
He split it in half, which was very likely from a Misogi, a slice-based attack (which, like his version of the shoryuken, a few techniques are as well).
you know he used kongoukokuretsuzan and not misogi. in his ending, we all see that he used his fist to punch ayers rock and not his chop.

My point is, Cloud is NOT able to pull off a Limit Break whenever the hell he wants, or at least at the start of the fight like Sado was assuming earlier.

I can concur with this
~Sado
No, but as I said it's been evident that "something" must be fulfilled in order for him to pull off a Limit Break from in the movie. Did you read the FAQ properly? Cloud doesn't necessarily have to be taking damage to fill his "Limit Meter", imaginary or not. He can be dealing it as well, and as you can see from the Bahamut fight he was slicing away at the thing for quite some time before it retreated from him and he was able to pull off a well-placed Limit Break to kill it.
the only I saw in your faqs is "To fill it up, you must get attacked or have damage done enough". ingame, while you're attacked, you're going to taking damage. it's no different.
Even if it were, your point is moot; they're still two different effects on two different types of material.
why don't you try to cut something with your bare fist and not your chop? see gouki's SF3 : double impact ending again. whether did he used his chop or his punch.
My point is, Cloud is NOT able to pull off a Limit Break whenever the hell he wants, or at least at the start of the fight like Sado was assuming earlier
he never used it at the beginning of the fight. true. but my point is I don't see if he must be injured first to execute his limit break.
The only thing I know for sure, is that if Cloud can perform Omnislash Version 5, he wins.
Not only is the attack incredibly fast(it happens in an instant, as stated in the Reunion Files) but everything points out to it being a spiritual attack, not a physical one. After all, we can clearly see Cloud phasing through Sephiroth's body, and after the attack is over, Seph's physical body is unharmed.
This explains how Cloud could beat Sephiroth, the strongest character in the world of FFVII(confirmed by creators), and why he can beat enemies much stronger than him. Because, from what we can see, Omnislash Version 5 is able to directly harm the soul/spirit of a person.
I don't believe Gouki could survive that.
