I would have had no problem with Vader turning good if it had been done over the course of more then just the last forty minutes of a movie. The man spent the entire 2nd movie slaughtering his own men because they didn't get his coffee right, torturing one of the main characters, and slicing off the hand of the other. He went from being the epitome of a big nasty to redeemed in such a short time that it bothered me.

Well, I guess I didn't mind that so much, especially since it's not really like he suddenly became Mother Theresa (who was a ***** by the way), he just saved his son and was forgiven by the force, so to speak. So I didn't find it rushed or inexplicable.

I would ask for your reason(s) to say something that condemning and controversial about someone who did more for the world than many, but this isn't a political forum.

I know you posted the vid for humor purposes. I just wanted to point out to everyone here why that angry know-nothing nerd is wrong about just about all of his points.

They only thing he can complain about is the Yoda puppet vs. CGI. That is purely opinion. However, I find it ludicrous that people think the clunky puppet was superior to the CGI Yoda.

All of his other complaint points were complete failure. He obviously didn't pay attention to Episode II or else he would have known that he wasn't supposed to go back to his mother or get it on with Padme Amidala. The other points like Vader and the reasons for the Jedi Order would require him to have known about stuff NOT in the movies. So, you're right about the casual viewer not knowing any better; I can see how that would be confusing.

Sorry, bro, for the offensive post. That was just a quote towards the lame youtube dude. I didn't read over my post when I just cut it and put it in and I didn't realize it had such offensive stuff in it at the end. I just remembered the jist of the post.

My point was Anakin was intended from the very beginning to have faults. He was supposed to have weaknesses so that he WOULD fall to the dark side. It would be very unbelievable for someone like Obi Wan to fall to the dark side. It had to be a faulty character with problems. Yes, Anakin was revered by his Jedi peers for his accomplishments. He was an excellent pilot. I don't see how that contradicts the OT.

It's alright, I didn't even notice.

Hmm, it might not contradict the OT, I will need to rewatch, but I just didn't like it. Cause, to me, he didn't just have some flaws, he was a boring, stupid and annoying character. So I didn't enjoy it that much.

The CGI I've seen in the trailers look...awkward. That's the one thing that's putting me off. Couldn't care less about what they did to the story. I haven't read any of the spoilers but I'm pretty sure I know what they DID do to the story.

They should've gone all anime/CGI eg. Appleseed. I think THAT would have kicked ass, and suited it more...but then I haven't watched it...

I liked the film. Loved the intro/theme song and how it was remixed with the drums. Jabba's uncle sounded like Capote. The characters were cool. The film looked better that i thought it would. I felt indifferent about the kiddie humor however i think in order for an adult to really like the film, they'd have to really like or be into SW (unless you're a kid.)

Nevertheless it was a good waste of time. I Thought the end of the movie ended too abruptly. I say this movie and the toon clone wars are a tie.
