anyone else getting a little sick of wolverine speed being disrespected?
I just had someone try to argue that DD beyond him lol, and that spiderman questioning his his speed against wolverine as pis. I find this quite funny. Don't understand how people can be so ignorant.
Wolverine own rogues consist of individuals with superhuman speed, reflexes and agility, like lady death strike,omega red, wild child, sabre-tooth ect.
Wolverine has consistently hung with spidermans speed, as well as all of spidermans rouges he has faced such as venom a number of times, lizard, vermin, puma ect. Yet people still try to pretend he not on this level, despite the fact he consistently displays such level of speed and against established characters.
These KMC myths that he some peak-human is getting out of hand, when it never once been suggested in any comic story.
Even his strength level is so underrated at times, I me dam, how can people sit there and say he not a 2 tonner when he carried a friggin grand piano through the jungle and up a mountain.

He was the straw that broke the cammals back, there are lots of members of the board who underrate his speed. Certainly not to that level that kid was but they still do. I mean just the other day I had to again clear up that wolverine being simply a peak-human myth thats always flying around. Then before that I had to again argue that he not an aim dodger. Some of those posters are fully aware of Logan's abilities yet chose to start rumors and myths anyway. They have such a hateon for the character that they will intentionally misinterpret comics in order to dissuade people from believing in Wolverine's full capabilities. Like this one guy right...used a training session with Storm to try and prove that Logan sucked at hand to hand combat. Basically, what happened is Wolverine was training Storm with Bokkan, right. And she manages to knock him down - all the x-men watching clap. Anyway, he was quite obviously going easy on her and the whole thing was misinterpreted by these guys ON PURPOSE to try and make Wolverine look bad.
Another example: Some guy tried to tell me that Wolverine lost his first fight with X-23. I actually believed it until I read the issue myself and saw that he had out-fought her without using his claws and when he tried to help her up, she cheap-shots his groin. There was really no other way you could interpret the comic given that one has a normal reading ability and an IQ above 12; yet some people....they will intentionally misrepresent Logan and use his lowest showings to try and "orove" that he lacks in speed, strength, fighting skill etc. Sometimes, it's almost like a game to them. Kinda sad, actually.
That's why Jinzin made this thread - to diffuse the ammo of those who would knowingly misrepresent Wolverine and other more ignorant posters who were just flat-out ignorant of his established feats. So now, whenever someone tries to claim that Wolverine isn't in Spider-man's league - we have ample proof to the contrary. Wolverine IS in fact capable of beating Spider-man. When someone says that Wolverine can't tag Thor - we have comic evidence that Wolverine not only can tag Thor, but that he's faster regarding pure H2H combat. Also, he's beaten Namor in the vast majority of their encounters - yet some posters just refuse to accept Logan's status as a "brick buster". When confronted with scans of him nearly killing Namor, slashing up Rulk or tearing Count Nefaria to pieces - they have nothing to say except to scream PIS and things such as "well clearly the writer doesn't know Count Nefaria", etc.
So to hell with them - we have this thread to enjoy - and they have their delusional Wolverine-hating fantasies and imagination.

Wolverine has stood up to Spidy and has gotten the better of him on a couple of occassions. He's pinned him to the ground, kicked him in the balls by flipping around when spiderman was holding him, and tagged him a couple of times. His overall speed is probably significantly less than Spidey's (foot race), but his H2H speed and striking power probably equals it or is at least close to it.
Also, Wolverine has faught Carnage to a stalement...there is no reason to think they are not relatively even.
wolverine has fought venom of course carnage madelizard look slow and more like annoyance rather then a threat.
he did the same with Puma while drugged and his reflexes slowed down and again with Vermin who had help with bloodscream.
so again wolverine is pretty fast in his own right enough to show speed and agility in team battles when he is fighting solo.
