I'm pretty sure I saw scans from this forum where they were going back and forth for a good long fight. Can't remember what the outcome was. I think it might have been in a respect Iron Fist thread or something.

In their first fight, it looks like Fist landed two blows. The first one...I can't tell what his two feet are kicking but judging by the fact that Peter's just standing their, it would appear that either a) the kicks had no effect) or b) Danny kicked something else. Now, he did manage to tag Spidy while he was lying on the ground - proof that his speed has to be somewhat comparable. He's fast enough is the point. But who can tag who doesn't really determine who's faster. Logan could probably go through helicopter blades if he had the agility of Spider-man. He has dodged lasers before so.
Case in point being - he's at least as fast as Iron Fist given similar skill level and additional stats to compliment the skills. Fist can tag Spidy while lying on the ground - so it's not PIS that Parker doubted his speed against Wolverine. There are actually a number of reasons why that's not PIS but anyway...
Just think it's important that if people are going to contest legitimate speed feats in that respective characters own RESPECT thread, then points counter to that subject should be made.
Saying that Spidey questioning his own speed against Wolverine is PIS is DISRESPECTING the character in his own thread and if that's not removed, then points counter to that shouldn't be either. Wolverine haters just can't let it go, can they?
I thought you guys were done. As far as the thread can't the mods just update the initial post with the right feet. So if it is a strength feat, it would be in the strength section. Over time there will be chatter and newer feats. It would save so many threads.

Wolverine's HF grants him enhanced speed and strength. On top of that, years of combat training allow him to swing his fists/claws at a rate which surpasses his natural speed. Hence, he can slash much faster than you would expect from watching him sprint. This accounts for him, while in combat, matching Spidy's speed to a degree. And considering, that Spiderman had yet to see him in combat, it would be reasonable for him to assume that Wolverine was some street-level slo-mo or something. So when he actually swiped at Spidy with such astonishing speed, Peter was shocked and himself. He doesn't often encounter people who are close to street level with that kind of speed - and perhaps the whole atmosphere contributed to this...but it doesn't mean anything except that Peter questioned himself briefly. It hasn't happened sense though...so I think Peter knows he is faster...even if not by much regarding pure combat speed.
As I'm sure you know, the skills also explain why Wolverine is able to dodge bullets, lasers, etc...I don't think he could do this without his training.
