Hell yeah Corvette ZR1!!!

I don't believe there are truly American Cars anymore, sadly enough.

I do like my Prizm....great on gas mileage, since this is a big concern now.

This is mine. 😄

Notice the color...Hehe...hides the dust and crap...

Very smart.

It's not really what I'd like, but for now, I'll take it. What I really want is a Mercedes! They have some great models...

Japanese cars all the way.

Unless a german car's around 😛

if i was having an american car it'd still be the GT-40...or a shelby GR1

cadillac escalade or chevy tahoe for me

if i had the money

or the gas

American cars are built by people with no concept of turning.

Those sound nice. 🙂

I love old school 60's and 70's American cars. I am happy to see them going sorta back to that with the new Mustangs and Challenger.

Chevy....nuff said. 👆

For the most part, American cars are shit.

Speed isn't everything in a car. If that Vette is like every other Vette built from the 70's on, it will drive like shit by the time it hits 50k miles. The dash/interior will have squeaks and rattles, the seats won't be as supportive and you'll probably have it in Mota's shop one day for every 20 you drive it.

Still, for the price you get supercar-like performance. Just be ready to trade it in before you rack up the mileage.

😆

They man's gotta work, right?

unless it is vintage it would take a lot to convince me into even considering the purchase of another American car. I'm sticking with Korean and japanese cars. My Hyundai has treated me better than a high class hooker would. My last car, Subaru, lasted me 6 six years without ever needing any type of costly repairs. I had a ford once, for two years. It was in the shop more than it was on the road.

Now if you just put modern in the title, I would agree. Today's American cars look the same, look like Japanese cookie cutters, and only last about 8 years. It's not like the 50's, 60's and 70's when you could instantly tell a model and year simply by glimpsing at a taillight, and they lasted forever.

Hell no! It looks like cross between a Nissan Z and a Mazda RX-8. And that's exactly what I'm talking about, when I say American Muscle has become emasculated, and don't even look American anymore. I can totally burn that piece of crap on a quarter-mile in a '67 Stingray. No jokes.

I completely agree with your first statement, and disagree with the other. The new muscle cars are nothing like the originals, not only do they look different, they sound and feel different. I once owned a '65 Stang, and the roar and power was unbelievable. I've ridden in and driven modern ones hoping to experience the same, but they didn't even come close. Today's pussy-ass sounding Mustangs are just glorified soccermom cars.

I drive a 1990 Chevy Silverado. Original engine and transmission, over 400,000 miles. Burns no oil and runs like a champ. 😄

That's a truck, not a car. Also, an 18-year-old vehicle is not modern.

Buy U.S. or we shall die!
You wouldn't want that, would you?
