In all seriousness, I can't see Castle beating Azrael without some kind of prep. Azrael is grossly superhuman and rediculously durable. He's tanked getting shot in the head, struck by lightning, and 5-10 tons of Semtex at point blank.

The batman can hold up 1000lbs, can snap a tree with a single kick and has mastered over 100 different martial arts. He is surely one of the smartest people on the planet and his reactiontime vastly surpass a lot of superhumans. He by hearing a gun go of had the time to both analyze from where it came, in what direction it came and he even had the time to dodge it- all this being between the time that the bullet left the sniper and it should have supposively hit Batman (but he dodged). He also reacted and dodged Superman's heat vision even though Superman was shooting it from behind Batman towards him.
The fact that he then has extremely badass gear and Joker STILL manage to keep him on leash a lot of the times show just how dangerous the Joker can be.
I do not enforce A>B>C logic, but if the Joker can beat Batman, then the Joker can beat the Punisher. I am fully aware of the personality of the Punisher, but just think aobut it. How many times have not the Joker had the chance to kill Batman? Yes, Batman has stood before the same opportunity, but only after Joker has "spared" him most of the time. Had Joker really wanted Batman dead, he would've been a long time ago.
Admittedly, NY is a down for the Joker. However, Joker has shown incredible adaptability. He has been able to move from one town to another and still been working efficiently. Even though Gotham City is his quarter, he will not do badly in other cities.
(In one issue, he came to Metropolis and I believe in the duration of one week did he set up a trap that almost killed Superman for good. Lex Luthor was impressed)
I could settle with a fair 50/50 though.

That is ABC logic. Frank Castle has survived assaination attempts from Doom and High Evolutinary. Can you prove that Joker > Doom or HE?

I think im going 6/10. Nobody has even proven that Joker is too much for Punisher.
Considering that Punisher knows NY far better than Joker, and that a couple of moments of sniper sight is all that would be required, I could very well settle with 60/40 to the Punisher. The Joker is a dangerous guy, and had it been anyone without a sniper rifle then the situation and outcome would look far more into the Joker's advantage.
They could however, both sit out and have it end as a stale. I can surely see that happening. They both await at their choice of field and after a week has passed, no one got a kill 😛

I meant i have read everything comic with the joker in, that i can get my hands on.
Anyway I do have the right to voice my opinion am I not. So attack me as you see fit. But in my eyes, The punisher is a trained sniper. And I do stand by what i said, The punisher can take down the Joker..I mean Snipers? Don't they do their research first or do they just go in guns blazing..?
