Batman does get shot, as we've seen in Gotham Knight. He's learned to "work through pain" so I highly doubt gunshot wounds are gonna stop him from getting Swagger. Okay, here it is. You using one man, one above average man, Vs. many Batmen now. Val Kilmer's Batman may have sucked, but he had to have been smart if he dealt with the Riddler and his shit.
Clooney's Batman may have sucked as well, but he had more costume changes which means he could adapt to anything.
Keaton's Batman was more of a detective, lame at times, but he had the gadgets needed to take down an army of clowns and everything in between.
Bale's Batman just brings all the f*ckin' skills to the table that all the other Batmen needed. So yeah.... sealed deal.
