I think bringing up an issue mid-afternoon on Thursday (Scoob) is a bit unfair.
That was the first time I read any of your match.
A time limit for prep contentions might not be a bad idea though.

So what's the deal with this "Airwave" situation? does it affect the current match at all or just the next matches?

Dog, this week's been insane. I had at least 8 fires to put out just to get the matches ready for judgement in the state they are in now.Next there will be disputes over birth certificates and citizenship.
Yeah, it looks like it's been a mad week; the first few have been relatively free of problems though, so I'm not suprised it caught up to us sooner or later. 😉

So everything involving that Airwave guy has to be completely ignored by the judges?B!tch
😛
I believe so, I wish I could just edit everything about him out, it's real confusing.
Hmm...
Well, if I'm interpreting your questions correctly, I think with the first you mean if, for example, if a someone had a 7 character team and only a combination of 5-6 of them went into battle and the other character remained at the prep area, could that remaining character communicate with his teammates during battle?
The answer to that would be no, because that would bring up issues of remote recon and use of resources that aren't in harms way on the battlefield which therefore couldn't be rendered inoperable.
As for the second question, do you mean what constitutes a prep area, or whether during prep you are confined to the prep area?
I must say that my match was more interesting in the discussion thread with all the rulings and such than the match itself. I have a suggestion. I suggest we not use era specific drafting anymore. It's way too confusing. Not unless the character has a spefic upgrade or down grade. Like Ms. Marvel. She is totally era specific. But in the era, the draft must have ten feat appearances.

Fangirl/B-Dub vote in.I didn't like the ruling I made, but with all the mess surrounding it, I felt I had to go with my gut on this one. 😬

It was more one side didn't sell their plan to me than one side impressed me greatly, I wouldn't be suprised if I'm the only person who voted for said team (the same could be said of the other team).. it was that close.
