Right now, last Wednesday stood as the drafting deadline for week 8 (last week before the playoffs) meaning the deadline is more than a week before the battle that it is a deadline for. Delph let me know that next Wed. is the deadline for the playoffs, which would also be a week and a half before it is scheduled to begin. This is due to the bye, but is breaking with the regular schedule of having the drafting deadline the Wednesday before the battle that it is for.

I'd like to motion that the drafting deadline for playoffs be the Wednesday before they are scheduled to begin, not a week sooner.

Because I, and likely others, would rather not be sitting on our playoff teams for over a week, with time for our opponent to plan/think/etc. as well as someone possibly missing a deadline due to confusion.

went through ID theft last year. someone put about $20 000 on my credit cards and stole a bunch of money from my bank account. 😬

bank and credit card companies dealt with the issue promptly and i got all my money back very quickly. best news--just 2 weeks ago they caught the little bastard. he was in the papers (can't even remember the loser's name . . .) but it was somewhat satisfying to know that once in a while those losers DO get nabbed, even though it took about a year to catch him.

Heh. Well....congrats? Glad to see you got closure at least. Amidst the tragic cats, cousins, sisters, etc. of this thread, it's good to have some uplifting news for a change.

Hope all's well for those with troubles, btw. And when you get a chance ill, check out my above proposal (hate to bring it up repeatedly, but it's just so it doesn't get lost). No rush though.

But once again, both your teams aren't that big for the chances for the place above 5th. The loss against Fangirl has basically left Kandy\Id without steady chances for playoffs.

We'd have regular drafts until after the last matches on the list, leaveing an extra week for playoff final picks.

Free Agency will be open until 11/19 (next Wednesday). Rosters will carry over from that point into the playoffs. Any changes must be submitted by 12:00am Thursday (Midnight Wednesday).
