-Salary Cap will be expanded to 150 points.
-Speed Cap will remain.
-Healing Factor Cap will be lifted.
-Weaponry Tech Cap will undergo an increase (per a discussion to define a reasonable new cap).
-Rosters from Season 1 will carry over to Season 2.

Forgot to add:

-Low Heralds will cost 40 points.

huh? he drafted the reigning king of hell who is using the armies of hell to build some tower to maybe attack heaven. he still sits on the throne of hell. i'm thinking HE'S the one who needs to prove that the near-powerless version of cogliostro THAT HE DRAFTED has access to this tower.

i'll post this in the thread as well since i guess that's where it should be . . .

I was replying to Scoob.

Seriously what’s up with the double standards?

The Current Cog is completely powerless with out the Crown. I would need to bring the crown with me, to do anything. However that is a violation, by introducing an item/tech above the status quo.

After all, Leo\Scoobs have Magik I for 20 pts and she's also a ruler\Sorceress Supreme of a dimension of Hell, the difference is that she can demonstrate a few powers outside of Limbo, while Cog has none.

Hence the double standards.

For the second season...If a person has comics books appearances for less than quota (6 appearances), BUT originated from a video game and both comics and video game are canon for said person- would he\she be allowed into the tourney under "mixed genre" premice?

.

The Id vs Leo match on the 2nd week was postponed to week 8 due to prep controversy...is that the stuff that's bound to happen between those particular 2 teams regardless of when they start?

You missed my point and it doesn’t matter. Now I asked nicely for you to refrain from posting. Can any of the other moderators remove Digi’s posts from this match.

Would you prefer I posted here?

🙄

I quoted your own words from the match and cited a similarity to an earlier tourney ruling. Explain to me why that's off topic. Clearly the thread wasn't engaged in match debate, so it was uniquely ON topic, because it was precisely what was being discussed.

Moved from the match thread.

Anyhow Isn’t this topic off limits even for you? Would you mind respecting, my match? Thank You. ^__^.

srug

And as it concerns tournament rulings, we all have a stake in it because each ruling sets a precedent. I'm allowed to voice an opinion. Off topic it isn't, nor is it anything but an attempt to remain active in the tournament.

Leo said he has dropped it, so I will as well. It's quite blatant nonsense, and illegal for a number of reasons that have been previously stated.

There is a reason why members are not allowed to interfere in the match in any shape or form. Now both you and Leo claim their isn’t a debate going on. However arguing the legality of my use of said character, is a debate in it of itself. Interfering of what you deem legal or not, breaches your agreement on the tournament rules. For that matter, you are still bound to follow the rules of the tournament.

If you find something out of place, you bring it to the discussion thread or PM Delph. Otherwise, if members are allowed to come in, and post their opinions in the middle of the match. This could create a sway in a judges ruling.

Do you understand where I am coming from? 🙂

The character on my Avatar.
His name is Id, from the game Xenogears.

His title is Demon of Elru. Its an event, in the game when Id wiped out an entire City, the name of that City was Elru.

OB means Outskirts Battledome. - That is my place of internet forum origin since the day I picked up Id as an avatar.

So I go about dubbing myself as Demon of the OB.

Guys, I don't get one thing- is Blair\Smurph vs Digi match going to start or they forfeited it with 3-0 technical victory for Digi?

It seems we have different ideas on the limits of participant involvement. You told me to respect your match. I do, which is precisely why I pointed out the similarity that I did. You see, respecting a match doesn't mean shutting up and letting things play out. Respecting a match means respecting it enough to want to see it be on the same playing field as every other match. Respecting the tournament enough to want to see the same rules applied to everyone.

As I see it, it's ill's job to make rulings of this nature. I wasn't trying to sway the judges at all. I was trying to provide all relevant information to delph before he made his decision. My words had nothing to do with the judges themselves. But as it pertains to battles, I've never said a word. But as it pertains to tourney rulings on the legality of strategies, I'm never going to be silent, because each ruling sets a precedent that affects everyone. I can't afford to be silent when my future plans may be getting rearranged before my eyes.

Problem is, I doubt you'd have the same problem if I was on your side. And if I were, leo and Scoob would be fighting my opinion tooth and claw, but they wouldn't make it personal....because it isn't. At least not on my end, it isn't. That's the problem with enjoying controversy, as you alluded to earlier. I'm trying to hash out a ruling. You're taking it as a personal affront.

Now, I'm in the discussion thread now and Bada transferred my comments from the thread over here. I trust we won't have further legality quarrels, yes?

Forfeit. They missed the final deadline.

You can bet on Delph making a ruling prior to the finale of the match, which means that Digi's post will be inconsequential to judges' rulings (as the matter would already be decided).

Anyways, it's being brought to the discussion thread now.

It sounds exactly like the Boy Blue/Lex Luthor situation. You're not allowed to draft someone, then just use an item from their base to make them much more powerful, because it's an immediate power up that you didn't draft.

Or something like that. I don't like it, but I was called on it too.

Exactly. How's Id anything special compared to me or you🙂?

Fair enough. Since no match had been posted as of now, I figured you guys hadn't gotten it in last night.

Anyway, looking forward to it.

You don’t understand, the rule there is no outside involvement of any kind, in the middle of ones match.

Now here is you contradicting statement, and the reason why I asked you to stay off my match.
I wasn't trying to sway the judges at all. - Digi
Ok….
I was trying to provide all relevant information to delph before he made his decision - Digi
This is an outside opinion, meant to sway a judges vote. IIRC, Dleph acts as week 8 judge, and by defector is the judge in these matters.

Leo needs to come up with reasons, along with evidence to defend its stance. Leo and Scoob, not Digi.
