McClane inflicted the second gunshot wound in the 4th movie on himself, and theres nothing to suggest that he couldn't stand if he wanted to.

You are correct, Bauer was killed, but he was resurrected as Jason Voorhees-like Zombie who is invulnerable to pain, proven when withstood far more than a tazer's amount of electricity when the Chinese tortured him years later. So he may have been weak before, but after his resurrection, he is invincible. He's like Jesus 🙂. You can disprove this by posting the time he died after the tazer incident. I'll be happily waiting.
Has McClane ever used a tazer? I know the lady on the plane did, but her tazer knocked a grown man out after a 1-second tap, whereas the one used on Bauer was held directly on his heart for 6-7 seconds. Has McClane ever withstood electricity himself?
And yea, it was a poor way to die, but hey, he survived a plane crash beforehand. And he was resurrected, and he's an invincible beast because of it. It's like Jason Voorhees, who got resurrected via electricity and was basically unkillable. The exact same can be said for Bauer, and proven with the amount of damage Bauer has taken, which would have definitely killed the average man. This can even be stated for the episodes directly after the tazer incident, where he was running up walls and snapping people's necks.

The guys a cop. Seems vastly likely that he can operate one and get one if he likes.
His build and frame and totally unholy damage soak would likely absorb the charge better. And his heart isn't weak either.
Bauer would disarm him. McClane can be and has been disarmed in melee combat, and Bauer can and has disarmed deadlier opponents. An assassin hired by White House officials tried to stab Bauer with a syringe and Bauer shoved it into the assassin's throat. I'm pretty sure the assassin was more skilled than McClane.

I don't think there's anything wrong with them as such, and I am sure they can be fun for some. I just won't participate.
