So I'm just about all the way through the entire series of the show 24. Bauer is extremely skilled, intelligent, and probably has more experience than anyone. Only issue is; he cannot contend with top-tier H2H combatants.

Dude has all the marksmanship, pain tolerance, and intelligence in the world but can't fight with the best of them.

Awesome show though!

I don't think he can compare with top-tier H2H combatants like Bourne, but he certainly can take regular-trained cops like McClane.

When he was tazed directly on the heart and flatlined in Season 2. Apparently this is some kind of "disadvantage" against him.
