think about this, the sword cloud WIELDS like it was a light stick, is infact a 6 foot tall, body length thick and wide piece of pure metal! NO human in the world cann lift that much weight let alone wield it around like it was nuthing. furthermore, the physical blade itself has an edge that grows EXTREMELY wide, which means that when he actually CUTS through things, irrespective of the sharpness that the actual EDGE makes, the widening sweep exerts a LOT of force when he is cutting through sumthing{a bit like the sword of kisame from naruto} and yet he is able to easily slice through things. aloso remember, that a BLUNT BLOW{which DIDNT CUT} was able to throw bahamut down the city scape with sheer FORCE, it has nuthing to do with cutting power. honestly, i cant beleive this is even being discussed, cloud outclasses a character like ryuu on so many TITANIC levels that this fight is a ridiculous mismatch. cloud destroyes everything around ryuu and ryuu himself, no prob.

Why exactly is Ryu more durable than Cloud? Is it because he takes "Island Sinking" punches? There better me more evidence to support this since you know...Cloud gets slammed into buildings by Sephiroth in Advent Children.

Considering all the Command, Magic and Summon materia Cloud has to master I really doubt Ryu is that more skilled. He is more skilled in hand to hand, but compared to Cloud who wields a giant buster swords, casts status effect, elemental magic and even summons Ryu is like a puppy,

Despite the claims, there is no evidence what Gouki did to the island was anything beyond a mere punch.

Umm not really, because its a wide sword heavy sword, does not mean it magically cuts everything it comes in contact with, again if that was true when he stabbed it into the building and stood on the edge, the sword did not budge or cut through the building, that basically proves its no magical insane sharp sword. Just because it contains more then one blade inside it, does not mean its a magically sharp sword.

Because its common sense, no human has the strength to cut through a thick tree with a katana, do you really know how hard it is? I happen to personally have a katana, and i know this might sound a bit ridiculous but ive tried cutting through a wooden chair, i cut at the seat part and just getting it to cut in about an inch was insanely difficult.

that punch was his strongest technique. other times ryu more or less had to just lie down flat on the ground (his best tactic, given his track record against anyone who can fight) and watch that blindf--k miss him despite shooting a million hadoukens at him. knowing akuma, he probably missed all his punches in their fight 😆

Might be the strongest in the world of SF, but doesn't compare to FF7, Cloud has never shown skill that even puts him on par with Zack, Zack being trained by Angeal who was ranked as high as Sephiroth, Zack probably gained more skills in one month then Ryu did in a year, being able to basically take on an army of shinra soldiers all surrounding him with machine guns, dodging every bullet, then after Cloud resumed Zack's role after he died, and through all the events of FF7, he is most likely far more skilled then Ryu

1. No, Clouds special is Clouds strength, and Gouki's special is Gouki's strength, and NOT Ryu's strength

Harness ki and project it, sure, several characters in FF7 can do it, both GOuki and Oro are faar more skilled then Ryu, Ryu has never shown anything close to beable to "split mountains" Cloud has been training to be in Soldier, though he never was skilled until he took Zacks assumed Zacks role, Zack in terms of feats has displayed far more skill then Ryu has ever shown, the only basis you can claim Ryu is more skilled is that "he trained since he was young", hell, so did Floyd Mayweather, should we say Floyd Mayweather is more skilled then Zack? From what we've seen Zack is more skilled then Ryu, now add Zacks skill to Cloud, give all the event of FF7, and Cloud is most likely more skilled then Ryu.
