The Countdown example was Jimmy with New God power i.e. New Gods can produce Kryptonite radiation. You're shooting your own arguments in the foot.

Jimmy was a regular human amped by New God power, so its safe to say New God spiritual energy can channel kryptonite radiation at will, better yet New Gods have been known to channel different energy sources thanks to their evolution through the source (which is at the centre of all energy).

From Oan energy to the fire storm matrix, New Gods have been shown to be versatile in all areas, you're really not making a legit argument here.

No, it's safe to say that Ds can only access k-nite with a soul battery as he has never turned anyone else into k-nite mid-battle with Superman. It's that simple.
