You seem to dislike DS, but you should like him seeing as he was the inspiration for Thanos' creation at least according to an interview I read from Starlin some time back.

Yuga Khan destroyed all the new gods and cut them off from the source. He pulled himself off the source wall.

I like Darkseid a lot but he is nowhere near as powerful as Thanos or Yuga Khan.

Darkseid has disrupted the New Gods connection to the source too. And Thanos isn't more powerful than Darkseid, sorry.

But Darkseid had only just come into his own. You don't seem to understand the symbolism of Darkseid. He possesses the Omega Force which grants him the power over oblivion itself. It is the name Darkseid, not Yuga Khan that is feared by all gods as it is meant to be according to the the millenia old lore books of the old gods.

Yuga Khan wouldnt lose to Superman,Doomsday,or Orion. Darkseid has looked worse than how he looked in the series against Yuga.

So? It isn't like he hasn't pwned those same characters more often than not and that some of his losses have already been attributed to his avatars - psionic projections of the true Darkseid who states he is omnipotent (not that it matters but it still suggest he's an abstract).

And before you say this is a retcon, DS was already stated to have avatars before many of his supposed defeats. And you're using Supes? C'mon this guy has been defeating high end reality manipulators and such, for much of his history. Supes even has esoteric powers like T-VO and psionic projections. And Orion? Who according to be Kirby is supposed to be destined to fulfill that role?

And it also doesn't change the fact that he's to be the most uber of the gods.

All gods fear the name Darkseid - that's his position in the cosmos. He controls the Omega force/effect which gives him power over oblivion itself i.e. reality warping and erasing beings from existence etc.

His name comes from this, he's a god who has harnessed oblivion itself, he has stepped over to the "darkside".

Seid feared Yuga Khan. Thats the difference. He ran from his powerful father. Seid hasnt been able to beat Superman,Doomsday,and Orion as of late. Yuga Khan would beat all of the characters I just named.

Yuga and Seid were both in the same comic and Yuga was a lot more impressive.
