Its like the Sentry stalemate. Even if it did happen we dont know the circumstances of it. Maybe Darkseid poisoned him,we simply dont know. Different altogether imo.

And I never suggested we knew how Yuga died, all it does is provide supporting evidence that suggest Darkseid > Yuga. Furthermore Darkseid couldn't directly contend with Yuga because of the Father/Son clause, so this is ultimately irrelevant to my point.

In the same plot Yuga claims Darkseid can overthrow him, couple that with Darkseid's higher role in the cosmological hierarchy because of the OE plus his knowledge to dominate the Source and you have plenty evidence supporting the idea that ultimately Darkseid > Yuga.

At the time Darkseid couldn't manipulate the Source to Yuga's level, but even then Yuga still stated DS had the power to defeat him. Now DS has the knowledge and capability to manipulate the source completely (beyond Yuga's level).
