"If the Federation ships could target our battle fields for orbital bombardment, they could move in on the shield generators," Vera-Kin says. "Without the shields, they could deploy anywhere on Alura."

"Whatever larger ships slipped by the shield are irrelevant. But now we not longer have the Federation forces fenced in, we've had no way to spot where the BV-50 may be.

"If another generator in this sector goes, most of this region will no longer be covered."

"How many generators are there in this sector?"

Basically just the one.

I get the feeling some of us will be needing to go there and keep things safe, not sure when though.

"The BV-50 must be found," Vera-Kin says. "But a way to track it, we have not found."

"As we know, they aere playing things cautiously," says Minar. "They'll only deploy the BV-50 when they need it."

"Taking out the capital city and opening the shield are two big wins I'd be expecting them to deploy the BV-50 on... I wonder though, would they go for the generator before or after Myconus?" Wentar says, thinking aloud.

Well, they cannot capture Myconus unless they defeat the interposing army.

This is true. Which makes me think they would send the BV-50 at a generator then try to crush the interposing army.

Sounds reasonable.

"Then it seems that we may be able to predict where the BV-50 is going after all," Xeth says. "Good thinking, Wentar. What are the odds that the BV-50 will be deployed before tomorrow? I should think that Cannes would prefer his toy be deployed while he thinks everyone is distracted with the impending assault on Myconus."

Minas agrees. "They'll deploy the BV-50 once we deploy our army,"

"And the Jedi will be waiting," Xeth says, firmly. "This is how we can best serve Alura at this time, I know it. The BV-50 is too formidable a machine for your soldiers to handle, as I'm afraid we've seen at the fall of the other generators. Though it is designed with contending against Knights in mind, it is not indestructible, and the Force will allow us to prevail."

"Well, if you think you can destroy that thing, we're willing to let you have a go, I feel," says Shan.

Vera-Kin is musing over this.

"Air Marshall Dowder," Vera-Kin says from across the table. "May I have a word? In private?"

He raises an eyebrow, as does pretty much everyone else.

"Any reason why?" he asks.

Xeth does as well, curious about what Vera-Kin has in mind.

"Indeed, Master," Xeth says. "Please, enlighten us."

To my fellow players, Ush has sent me the vision that Vera-Kin got as a use of Foresight.

-

Vera-Kin closes her eyes and allows what she has seen to swim before her.

"I have received a vision from the Force," Vera-Kin says. "It concerns the Air Marshall and the fate of Alura."

That's never the most convincing line to use, really. Especially to a bun ch of outsiders.

Now the others are loudly protesting that the Elerians must have done a deal with the Jedi, which is why you are here.
