"So your saying that these torpedoes are tested to be able to go through shields the like of the Federation's? How many of these do we have?"

That's actually pretty much the opposite of what he is saying...

Sorry, was writing the post and you posted the post to answer Xeth after I started writing so I didn't see it.

So he's basically saying there's no way to say if these torpedoes will work and it's up to chance?

Chance or not I'm sure we'll only get one shot at it, use of this weapon would have to be timed right.

Jedi Pilots might help?

Xeth certainly will be going up with the Elerian fighters to make the attack run on the Federation Control Ship.

"Untested, but there is a possibility, Air Marshall?" Xeth asks, ignoring the protests of the others.

Maybe going extra-vehicular and chucking your lightsaber at the hull, to enter the ship might work. Ha!

Denzral will accmpany those who need him, for the shield generator. Anybody care to help us heal? Elerian medics perhaps. Is this a resting period. How much health will I recoop?

Denzral asks; "Is there anything else we might need to discuss?"

I believe we have until tomorrow (in-game) to rest up, so that we will be mostly fresh against the BV50.

Vera-Kin will apologize to the leaders for arousing suspicions.

So there are 3 major things we have to do right now.

Defend the Shield Generator against the BV-50

The battle against the Federation army marching on Myconus.

Attack the Control Ship with experimental Elerian torpedoes.

I'm not sure whether there it much time between the Shield Defense and attacking the Federation army. We may have to split our forces here. As for the Control Ship attack we still have to work out away to thin their fighter screen first.

"It's not a magic weapon," says the Air Marshall. "Taking down a large ship with torpedo weaponry is an extended process, and these ships are exceptionally well armoured, especially when we cannot be certain about how much shield penetration we will get. Considering the amount of Vulture droids that will come to the defence of the ship, simply trying to hit it enough to take it down is impractical.

"A better idea," he says, briging up the tech specs on a screen behind you all, "is to knock out a sustem with repeated hits. I think the shield generator itself would be the sensible target.". It;s position is highlighted on the screen.

"Taking out the shield generator of the Control Ship would render it much more vulnerable to our torpedo fire," Xeth says.

"It'll also give them a scare, put them on the defensive. Although... would Cannes risk his own life here or would he attempt to flee once his shield is down?"

Jedi on the ground;

Denzral turned to face everyone. "The Jedi's priority should be to keep that shield generator operational protecting the capitol, there is little point in splitting our forces to contend with their assualting army, once the shield is lost there will be no point in fighting at all, the Federation will walk all over us. So those of us remaining Jedi on the planet will head there, it is the most sensible thing to do. Keeping the generator up, will buy the time your pilots need, Air Martial, to bring down their shields and take them out." The Jedi Knight pauses momentarily. "Once the BV-50 is destroyed we will then see if joining the main battle is nesessary."

Vlad nods at the Air Marshall.

"A sound strategy. How many starfighters do we have in total?"

"I rather think you are missing the obvious," says the Air Marshall. "Once the shield is down, the control ship will be vulnerable to the ground defences."

Denzral pauses. "That would save countless man power, however, there is no garentee that Cannes will stay in orbit when he loses shields. It may be wise to also take out his engines as soon as his shields are down, to prevent escape. I'll be right back." Denzral nodded to the Air Martial and stepped out of the room. He activated his comlink. "Arfour, get me in touch with the Jedi Archives, and find out the easiest way to destroy, stop, or immobilise a droid control ship. Or some of stoping it from controlling their droids on the ground if at all possible." He glanced at the guard standing by the door.

"Those ships move like bricks. It won't have time to pull out of orbit before the ground guns bring it down. Assuming that it has come into low orbit in the first place, of course."

You're on leave, Denz. You can;lt access the Arhcive for operational purposes. And you suspect that the Jedi would prefer it if you didn't seem to be accessing information on how to destroy Federation ships; that would be politically 'uncomfortable'.

Well can I inform the council as to what is happening?

I stayed in the room, remove my last sentance to the Air Martial from the record.

"How many torpedo strikes do you think are needed to take down the generator?"

After the Air Marshall gives Vlad the answer, Xeth talks.

"Air Marshall, may I have the honor of following your fighters into battle?" Xeth says. "Once my ship has gotten repairs, it will be fully combat capable."
