USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

If it is a low rise in theory we should be able to move the SWAT to the other side of their column and get them to ope up with heavy firepower while the Jedi take on the front of the column and hopefully force it to take a rout towards the mines while it hopes that the Droidekas take us on the Selenian Infantry opens fire from the oppoite side to help take out a few droids but to appear to be the lightest rout of resistance.

The enemy column is moving parallel with the rise. You can't get to the other side of it without the column spotting you. You are also within range of the Federation front line on the far side.

Then I'm out of ideas, think we'll use the previous plan

Ok then, gimme an action!

I think that the Selenians should attack the front of the column while the Jedi race out to the front to attack the Droidekas. So go with that.

Then, as the battle rages on, you can have the Selenians pull back below the rise and retreat, maybe the tanks will follow.

If that works, I guess I'll move forward and charge the droidekas.

You will get one surprise round. It will take two moves to reach the droidekas.

Kiu could spend a point on Dash to intercept a Droideka and slash at it while Denzral runs out after him tapping Gunslinger to shoot at the same Droideka. The armor might frustrate Denzral but it could get in some damage.

Shooting at a droideka won't achieve much...

Getting out there is easy. Not getting shot to pieces afterwards is the trick.

I feel like what we should do is clear out the battle droids using the SWAT and infantry so that the tanks are exposed, then retreat behind the rise so that the tanks head after you. Doesn't handle the droidekas, though.

The feeling is that they wanted your help here precisely because of the droidekas.

So then Xeth's plan is sound as far as having us rush forward and wail on the droidekas.

If the SWAT and Selenians wipe out the battle droids at the front of the column (70 shooters with higher dice on 20 droids caught unaware, I'll be surprised if they are not obliterated), the problem might be that the other 40 battle droids pick out the Jedi.

I think Kiu should get Forward Guard in and tap it during the surprise turn so that he cuts a chunk out of a droideka. Denz will just have to play catch up since he doesn't have any more Force points.

Any cover out there?

Nope! The tanks will only come over open ground.

So it may be that the guys will need to make defensive taps almost right away...

Well, time is going by; I am calling a two day time limit for actions or I shall conclude this as a failure.

Come on, guys, we can't just let them parade on by.

Denzral should run out and use the free turn to shoot down a regular battle droid since I do not believe you have any Force points left. Do this while moving forward to get to the droids.

Order the soldiers to concentrate their firepower on the front of the column so that they destroy the battle droids in that area before they sweep backward to the rest of the droids, maybe ordering them to give you covering fire against battle droids attacking you.

Then switch to your lightsaber in the next turn and move in and attack a droideka.

I'll do this...

I'll spend a force point on dash, and I'll take forward guard instead of orthodox before I start. I'll tap forward guard and use it against a droideka, then swap for orthodox.

The soldiers should focus on the front of the column to get rid of the battle droids, then sweep backwards to the other droids. They should also offer some amount of cover fire for me and Denz.

I'm eager to get into the game after this turn!

(just letting know I'm still alive)

Go go go!

Denz runs out atop the rise, gun in hand, and blasts down a droid. Kiu blurs ahead of him and goes for a Droideka. Kiu does not have Orthodox Guard so I assume he means to swap in Balanced.

Note- the game is currently in a beta revision phse. I am applying the first of these changes now; Balanced Guard has been improved. Note also that your sabres are now 6* weapons, instead of 5**, which makes them slightly betetr against thigns that take damage and slightly worse against mooks. However, they are so good at taking out mooks anyway this is not an issue).

Kiu rolls 12 successes on his dice, which goes straight through the armour (it has not yet deployed its shield) for 18 damage!

The concentrated firepower does its job- the front droids are eliminated.
