Vlad can announce him and the other Jedi's are Jedi Knights on leave, coming to the planet in search of an environment farther away from the troubles of the Republic that the Jedi usually encounter.
The renegades thought... Vlad can say that their a group of friends/traders that also came here on rest?
We should make it seem that we're not snooping around or investigating anything because I think they don't like that very much.
But for us to land and for us to encounter governmental officials is something else... if they ask us why we wish to land on their planet, it's because we're on a holiday trip... not because we're jedi knights that have picked out this planet to be away from troubles in the republic. When we encounter officials later on (or if we encounter them), there is still a chance they don't know we're "those spending a holiday here" and if they do, we say we are good guys trying to help out the planet ... none of this is a lie but the way I see it through this way we don't annoy them by pushing republican officials (or whatever) on to them.
If it comes to a fight and they know we're republican, they'll definitly end up hating our guts
EDIT: The main thing is, I don't understand why when you arrive at a planet you say "hi, I'm a Jedi. Can I land here?" Especially if it's a planet that doesn't want to join the Republic...
You baiscly announce the arrival of a shipload of deadly mysterious warriors who can kill without even blinking... than you say there's gonna be an invasion without solid prove and than you say "hey, perhaps we should chat with all the important officials". In such case, they would think "****, of course there's gonna be an invasion... right after these jedi killed us all, the republic will try to take this planet by force!"
Only problem of course is that the invasion can only be solidly proven when it is happening.
Saying "we're just on vacation" and potentially having to draw our lightsabers isn't a great way to inspire trust. We have to be upfront about us being Jedi. Our intentions is something that we don't have to be truthful about.
Renegades, how about we say we were hired by someone on the planet for investigation?
Like I said, lets get through with this without being 'officially' on the planet. Don't tell them we're investigators or anything, it'll cause unneeded suspicious.
Rocas is right about the the fact that us not telling them we're Jedi would be completely correct. They will get even more suspicious.
Jedi on vacation should be no problem. The renegades could be our friends that have also decided to go on vacation with us.
Perhaps the renegades could hide their lightsabers? It will save us with more contemplating or suspicion, and if anything turns out wrong they will underestimate us by a good amount of Jedi.

Yes, I agree. But what do the Renegades represent themselves as?
I don't see why they can't simply state they are Jedi as well. It's not like the people on the planet are going to call up the "Old Folks Home" and ask for names of every Jedi with a description so they can match them up. They have a lightsaber, they are a Jedi.
Personally, I don't think we should hide our Jedi status. Not only does it complicate things with possessing lightsabers, but then when it comes time for us to go 'We're Jedi, there's an invasion coming, we're here to help!' they will fault us for lying and not revealing that we are Jedi in the first place, therefore establishing why they shouldn't trust us when they already won't because we're from the Republic.
Assuming that they're all paranoid as it is.
We are Jedi and we are on vacation.
