USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

wait, we're doing 3 out of 4 missions? What about the one left over??

How is the defense battery and it's defenses set?

It is comprised of three very heavy g8ns (small building sized) each on tracks; it has labouroiously moved into position since the fighting started but it can only withdraw very slowly if pressed.

A company of blue-uniformed Selenian infantry (about a hundred men) are defending it but lack heavy back-up. So far, droid attacks have been beaten off but the feds are massign for a larger attack 9this is not a main front, though, so it is noit as if the entire Fed army is out there). Selenian air power is stopping the feds from just strafing the guns to bits.

Looks like we're just a pair Denz.

How many soldiers will be with us in the forest and how large of an area do the Selenians believe the Federation has spread out into?

What is the situation with the evacuation, both on the ground and in the air?

You don't know. As for soldiers that will be with you in the forest, than as per the description given it will be none, and nothing else is worth guessing at.

I need to know who is going in what ships.

Wentar will be in the Free Flier, Vlad and Sean are more then welcome to tag along if they need transport to the Defense Battery.

Xeth will be taking the Nexu's Grin, with R3 strapped in on board, giving a ride to Vera-Kin and Jovan to the evacuation situation. Currently he has no orders for them as he himself knows little about the situation.

For Vlad and Sean, Xeth knows they will do their best in keeping the droids at bay and holding out with the Selenian soldiers. He tells Wentar to blast whatever heavy equipment the Feds bring; expect tanks.

For Kiu and Denzral, Xeth wants them to find out where the droids are headed. If they can destroy them all, do so, but if they need to pull out so that they do not get killed or captured, get out of there.

Oh, and if we could get someone to operate the turrets on Wentar's and Xeth's ships, I'm sure that would help.

An NPC at the gun would be awesome. Sure the Selen wouldn't mind giving us a spare soldier or two to defend their planet.

Wentar will assure Xeth that as long as the Selen keep those enemy fighters off his tail no heavy gear will get by him.

"Good to see you're confident, Wentar," Xeth says. "I know you haven't worked with me for long and that this is probably way bigger a job than you were anticipating, but you have remained calm and steadfast."

Wentar shrugs. "These people need our help and panic is something we can do without right now. Have to admit though, I'd be a whole lot more worried if I was doing this alone."

Xeth nods as he hobbles towards his starship.

"That's why I worked to put this group together," Xeth says. "I could not have tackled this conspiracy on my own, as I had tried before. I needed help, and now I have it when I need it most. It's a nice change."

"Indeed and if one person can make a difference then a group of us can work miracles. Of course, we have to finish up here before that, eh?"

"We need to keep our minds focused on the present if we are going to work any miracles," Xeth says, "because we need to work them here and now. I am not letting Alura fall."

"True enough. Though I have correct you a little there, we will not let Alura fall."

"Fair enough," Xeth says, cracking a smile.

Since we haven't heard from Kiu and Denzral and Denzral's craft is only a one-person starfighter, perhaps they could utilize the airship we borrowed? Or if they could obtain an armed one...

You can be transported to any area but you need a Startship merit to make use of air cover.

There are no spare personnel available- all Selenain forces are being employed already.

Xeth, your ship is approaching the evacuation area, the outskirts of which are aflame. Your comms are being overwhelmed with distress calls

Kiu and Denz know where the potential threat for the droids to be heading to is- the defence installation bordering the forest.

Wentar- you are thinking that's all very well just to TELL someone to destroy tanks... actually trying to blast holes in them whilst under fire is quite another. Much also depends on how far they keep back their heavy stuff; it may be out of the range of the air cover.

What would be best you guys think? Starting "at the back" with those closest to the invasion fleet or "at the front" to make sure no bottleneck is forming?

True enough. What is the situation at the Defense Battery today anyway? I'm assuming I drop Vlad and Sean off on the ground too.
