No time to lose then, eh? Take them by surprise and strike at one of the tanks first.

The Lieutenant shrugs. He hasn't got time to argue.

"I can hold the droids back, but I haven't got enough men to push forwards!" he yells. A rocket lands near you and showers the area with debris. "But if we don't take care of that artillery soon we'll be blown to pieces!".

Not going to be quite that easy, Wentar, Jusr arriving now is a new squadron of vulture droids, coming to clear the skies of the Selenian defenders.

been off for a few days but with quick check, nothing has happened? No comments on my worry about where to start?

How far away is the artillery?

About half a mile.

Difficult to work out what is going on in that city, Jovan. Some local admin guy is trying to contact the ship though.

Would it be reasonable to take some forces and try to push forward to the artillery?

Denz and Kiu will land at the comm center and start out into the forest. Any chance the jamming wouldn't work on movement sensors?

Not gonna get a clear shot with those vulture droids around am I?

Wentar frowns at the incoming Vulture Droids. Turning his ship to engage them.

Can I get in contact with the local air force here? Let them know I'm on their side.

Don't weorry, they have your ships down as friendlies. Co-ordination is the beat way on here of course...

Vlad- well, you can certainly try that. Get a plan together, is my recommendation.

Kiu- this is a forest. There's life everywhere- movement sensors would be hopeless.

May as well give them the heads up. Assuming I know our allies frequencies. 😛

"This is Wentar Reiua of the Free Flier. I've detected a new squadron of vulture droids incoming, moving to engage. Any available assistance would be greatly appreciated."

Would it be possible to send in some troops at the enemy droids to distract them, and then I with another group of troops could come around the side to get to the artillery?

Which enemy droids?

Xeth brings his ship soaring over the evacuation area, his comms being bombarded with distress signals. He scans through the incoming hails and sees the local administration wavelength and responds.

"Jedi Xeth Tam coming to assist the evacuation efforts, can you tell me what is going on?"

sorry, it's ****ing hell here so had difficult checking

anyway, Bespin Bart already did what I would do: contact admin

It's all a bit chaoticm, Xeth. it;s hard to tell who is in charge. But the general vibe is this- you have a ship. They need ships! They need people shipped out of there, they don't have enough transports!

Vlad- to clarify, if you mean the droids guarding the Hailfires, which only Wentar has yet sighted, then they are too far away for ant soldiers to get across the battleeield to rach them.

If you mean the droids the troops are exchanging fire with in the firefight- consider them already distraxcted. A flanking manoeuvre is certainly possible, but will require Intrusion rolls. Luckily battle droids are lousy so those rolls aren't hard, but not having Intrusion would bne awkward.

Hard as you guys are, of course, you two aren't really up for taking on a hundred droids and several tanks, so you may wish to extend the plan somewhat...

Considering the lack of technological help, Kiu will land ask the commander at the communications base what he knows on the positioning of the droids and if he has any inkling of how many.

"You're in luck!" Xeth says. "My ship is a small modified freighter, I can assist you in the evacuation. Just tell me where to go. Also, I have brought two powerful Jedi to help delay the invaders so that the evacuation has more time. Where can they be of most help?"

Can we both go around the droids and try to flank the Hailfires, and then try to sabotage them without initiating a battle?

You're not invisble- you can;t actually just walk by them all and up to the artillery pieces, disable them and get away without anyone noticing.

Xeth- there's a park being used as the evacuation point; they direct you there.

Kiu- the outpost leader has no idea. He's never seen them; all he knows is that the army sent in a warning that enemy forces had entered the forest. There can't be that many of them, he reckons, else they wouldn't have slipped through the cordon.

Xeth sends the Nexu's Grin in with all due speed.
