USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

Xavier will keep his current load out and running towards the droid.

Can Gallador leave speeder at enough distance/cover that it is safe? Or does it have any weapons to fire from?

As vert much previously established, it has no weapons; drawing attention towards it would be a poor idea anyway.

If I take it outside the danger range, how long will it take Gallador to get back to it? Or is it the excuse to miss this fight?

Three turns back in.

And I am unlikely to be targetted while going back?

Depends on the situation!

Going a bit behind Galder and Xavier should increase my chances, as they are more likely to be targetted?

Yes but they might have got there by then.

Okay Gallador will park the speeder and see how the situation unfolds.

Tanic will set his speeder down away from Gallador, then take a seat to watch the others fight.

He's not going to leave it. If reinforcements arrive and we lose either one, we're pretty much screwed.

Seems like good reasoning, Tanic. I forgotten we lost one already, right? So Gallador will park his one and look for any more threats.

For the purpose of moving in to attack, Galder will swap Forward Guard for Balanced Guard to take advantage of its defensive capabilities during the run in.

Also, if Coordination is activated, is Galder unable to close in?

And, just out of curiosity, does the high Defense still apply if someone is using a blaster to shoot at the droid? Tanic could assist from his parking spot by hiding the landspeeder then blasting from afar.

No, Co-ordination can be used when closing.

The defence is Close Combat Defence. But it is heavily armoured.

This is true.

Galder will activate Coordination as he moves in, since he will not be attacking as it is.

Xavier will do the same with Coordination.

If Rand is nominated for one of the blaster attacks, he will elect the Giant Droid as his target for Focussed Guard to increase his defense against it. If not, he will slash at it with his lightsaber.

Damn, lost my first post of this in error.

Anyway. Gallador and Tanic round the corner just in time to see the second giant robot coming your way! It will rounf the corner and enter the engagement next turn.

Galder and Xavier close in using Co-ordination to ward off enemy fire- note that anything that works against Guns also works against Heavy Weapons.

Rand- afraid you cnanot wait until someone fires to nominate, so I will make that just an attack. This is no mook so you do not get your * bonus against it, so that sven dice, for two successes, reduced to one by parry but still in, as you strike for five damage (ignoring its armour) against its legs.

Rianna, abale to ignore the Parry, rolls twelve dice for seven successes (including a convert from Orthodox) for 12 damage- a very solid hit indeed, cutting deep within and sending spraks flying as she severs stuff. A nearby Dak gets nine damage from his nine dice.

Con leaps aboard- roll passed- and strikes himself! Six successes, eleven damage. Being able to ignore its armour means you guys are ploughing through it!

Ok, the droid;s turn! It can automatically target everyone on it with its tendrils, which means it can shoot at Rand, Relle and Azarl with its guns, leaving a gun free to fire at Xavier, meaning its two rockets fire at galder and... Gallador.

Two successes against Dak is five damage (armoured down to four), Con is entirely missed, and two successes against Rianna is five damage, ans the electrified tendrils wrap around her arm!

Its repeating laser guns fire out all over, scoring a very solid hit against Relle, just getting a tiny hit on Xavier, distributing damage out elsewhere.

A near-miss on Galder still deals five damage to him!

And then Gallador is forced to use another Luck roll on his Pikot dodge to stop his speeder being blown away...

Well, another attack on that droid then.

(Hmm Galder you think it could be a better idea for Xavier and Galder to turn and run towards the new Giant Robot coming in?)
