USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (JEDI)- Purity

Well, we will just see where Roan goes...

... also we're a fair way behind with Gallagher now.

Old Synod please!

Uh-oh, you're not going to like him...

Choices noted! I shall begin the various conversations... soon. But as a brief preview...

Jelena has picked a giant red demon-like species, and she's picked a political winner there, because he is one of the three deputy chairbeings of the Poverty Committee.

Andro has picked a representative of a large group of charities. She is a political activist/lobbyist.

And Roan... has picked an ex-Abbot.

Gallagher will ask starport personnel if any of them have seen a man matching Zaland's description.

Oh boy..

Indeedy so!

The Senator's name is Joylo Risus of Daerum. He is, as I described, muchly like a large red demon, complete with horns. He is also vast and bulky- which makes him look rather fat, and means although he is sitting at the same level as you, his head is a clear foot above you.

The otherwise dramatic nature of this effect is spoilt by the fact that his arms are tiny. They are nowhere nea rlong enough to actually reach the table from his shoulders. Instead, a droid attendant next to him uses a shovel-like device to bring food close to Joylo's mouth, which he then tears apart with raoid movements from his hands.

He's quite jolly and enjoying himself and is curious about a Jedi being here.

The woman is Tera M'lim. She is NOT enjoying herself, and your senses can tell she is an extrmeely driven woman. She wants to bemaking her case to important players and being sat next to a Jedi has not helped her at all.

Which leaves Father Durson Sott, one time Abbot, and hence afforded various permanent privileges within the Synod, such as being one of tis representatives at an event like this. He shows no sign of either enjoying it or not enjoying it or, basically, caring at all.

How do you guys wnat to approach your convos?

"Oh, the troublemaker?" says the Gran you ar etalking to. "Are you a friend of his? We want compensation for what he did to my friend," he says, poitning out a Trandoshan with a broken nose (no mean feat).

"Uh..." Gallagher says. "I apologize for any inconvenience he may have caused you. I will... have to get him to apologize, yes? But if you could point me in the right direction..."

-

Question. Are Force points used in flashbacks are still used?

Nope. That change your strategy? One of them is saying that seeing as YOUR friend is not here, yuo will havr to do with compensating HIS friend...

Gallagher, still feeling somewhat sorry for the Trandoshan's broken nose, fishes a single credit out of his pocket before concentrating, to practice his learnings in an actual situation.

"That will be compensation enough," Gallagher says, waving his hand as he tries to alter his target's mind. "Now, er, my friend... which way did you say he went?"

(Inspired by old players after reading back to the first game)

"Ah, that'll be enough," he says. He gived you the name of a bar he was asking after.

"I'd be careful though. It's... not for tourists."

Gallagher subtley shifts his robes so that his lightsaber is revealed. It is a simple hilt, with a circular grip for the upper hand and buttons for flipping it off and on.

"I think I'll be okay," Gallagher says, offering a smile.

With that, Gallagher makes his way to that bar.

Well, it takes you a while to find it, amongst these dark back streets, but something gives you a hint.

That something being someone being thrown out of the window.

"Oh, not good..." Gallagher groans. "All part of the job, all part of the job..."

Gallagher quickens his step, pushing his way past people to reach the bar.

People are pretty much staying away from it.

When you get in, there are three dead bodies near the doorway, and Zaland is having a vigorous fist-fight with about half a dozen others, whilst a seated Rodian looks on, carefully.

Gallagher does not stop to examine the bodies, but dashes into the bar. Knowing that this is a dangerous situation and it needs to stop, Gallagher draws and lights up. He relies on his lightsaber to give him some shock and intimidation value.

"I'm a Jedi! Stop this at once!"

Well, your entrance certainly brings things to a temporary halt, with everyone looking in your direction.

"Stay out of this, Gallagher," says Zaland.

Gallagher hesitates, clearly uncomfortable in his current environment.

"No," Gallagher finally says. He holds his lightsaber up before him and takes another step towards the paused brawl. "You were supposed to meet us. What is going on here?"

"Family business."

"Associating with the Jedi now, are we?" speaks the Rodian in Huttese. "You should beware your own allies, lest they look too closely."

If there is one thing that Gallagher prides himself on besides his power in the Force, it is his knowledge of languages.

Gallagher looks from Zaland to the calm Rodian. He keeps his lightsaber up, but does not point it at anyone.

"Who are you?" Gallagher asks, in Huttese.

I am going to be very polite and respectful. But I want to know what being an abbot does, and what he thinks about Sienar.
