"I don't have to answer any of your questions," says the Rodian. "It should be this Thespian you are interrogating."

"Get out of here, Gallagher," says Zaland. "You can only make life more difficult."

Gallagher wavers, hurt by Zaland's words but knowing that he does not fully grasp the situation.

"You will tell me who you are," Gallagher says to the Rodian, making a slight gesture.

"I don't think so," he says.

Gallagher frowns, realizing that the Rodian has too strong a mind.

Hoping one of his thugs has a weaker mind, Gallagher tries his trick on them.

"You will tell me who that Rodian is," Gallagher says, making the gesture and also indicating the calm Rodian at the bar.

"Answer him and you will have to answer to me!" says the Rodian, terrifying the lacky into silence. "Who do you think you are, Jedi? You have no right to question myself or my friends. You have no warrant or any form of evidence against me. But this man here," he says, indicating Zaland, "has come into my bar and started to attack the patrons. And you ask questions of me? What kind of Jedi are you? Perhaps I should have the details of who I can make a complaint to about such outrageous actions..."

"I'm leaving," says Zaland. "But this isn't over." He strides towards the exit.

"Okay, okay!" Gallagher responds to the angered Rodian. "I just wanted the fighting to stop, and it did, didn't it? Job done."

Gallagher puts his lightsaber away and follows Zaland out of the bar.

"I'm sorry," Gallagher apologizes. "I, uh, feel like I ruined something."

"You DID ruin something!" he yells. "And now they know a Jedi is around they'll clam up tighter than a Bospehllian oyster! Why didn't you stay the hell out? You have no idea what you are doing!"

"Look, I am trying!" Gallagher shouts back, offended. "Those guys could have hurt you, or worse! You should be thanking me for saving your life!"

Gallagher stops at that, though, realizing how ungrateful and snobbish he sounds. Not at all the Jedi way.

"I apologize, I shouldn't have said that, but I am only a Padawan."

"I don't need some child of a Jedi's help to protect myself! I've been trained for this kind of work all my life!"

Wait... you felt something. He seems to regret saying what he just said. Not in that he yelled at you, but as if he's given away something.

"What kind of work?" Gallagher asks. "I fail to see how attacking patrons in a bar relates to bodyguard duties, no matter who those guys were."

He hesitates for a moment. "It doesn't matter. Fighting is what I am trained in. I was trying to get some damn answers in this investigation. It's obvious we aren't getting any by the Jedi way."

Gallagher hesitates himself.

"I agree," he says, quietly, as if Master Korth were right around the corner. "Korth and I reached a dead end, hence why I came to find you. And... Zaland... you cannot hide anything from me. I can sense that you are uneasy about what you said. If we are going to get anywhere in this, we can't hide things from each other."

"All I know is that my brother used to come here- presumably protecting your sister. I wanted some answers about what they were doing here."

He's lying about that last sentence.

Gallagher narrows his eyes.

"Did you not hear what I just said? I can sense when people lie, and you just did. You know more than you say."

"Then use your senses to find out!" he snaps, stomping away.

He's extremely sensitive about this area. Something is not right.

"Zaland, wait!" Gallagher says. "Look, I'm sorry. There is something about this that bothers you and you don't want me to know. I can't read your thoughts, but I can help you with the investigation! Just give me a chance! Let me in."

He's not in a mood to answer you, I am afraid.

"Arguing with the golden boy? You should be careful, yelling your business on streets llike these. News carries far."

That Rodian is standing at the bat doorway, smoking a deathstick. He spoke after Zaland stomped off.

"What do you mean by calling him that?" Gallagher asks in Huttese, looking sideways at the Rodian. "And what's it to you, anyways? I thought you wanted us gone, now you're following me around."

Gallagher tries to scan the Rodian's mind and discover how the Rodian feels towards him.

"Calling him that? Zaland is a rising star in his... 'organisation'. As for wanting you gone... well..." He gestures towards your braids. "A Padawan. And where there is a Padawan there is a Master."

"So there is. But... what organization?"
