Halo will never have an awesome kick ass single player experience if Bungie keeps focusing on their stupid multiplayer. I can already predict what Halo Reach will be like.

Halo has good single player. Sure it ain't no Half Life 2, but it is still better than a lot of campaigns out there.

I wonder if in Halo Reach we will play as Master Chief or another spartan/odst.

john was never on the ground during the battle of reach so that wouldnt make a whole lot of sense actually ironically enough the battle of reach takes place while he is fighting on the first halo. when the pillar of autumn come out of slip space in the beginning of the game? they had traveled there from reach.

I was under the impression the battle took place before the first Halo, hence why they fled with the random destination that lead them there.

i dont think the battle was completely over in that the unsc had already lost but the covenant were still mopping them up. i know the master chief never fought on the ground though. he fought in a i believe a space station with kelly and kelly got near fatally injured so they had to pull back into the autumn and they escaped soon afterwords.

but fred linda and a bunch of other spartans fought on reach.

I'll take your word for it since its been quite a while since I've read fall of reach.

wasn't a big fan of bioshock. I played two hours of it, then gave it away to a friend. What's unchartered 2? Is it on the xbox?

I just rented this game and it's kinda fun. I beat the game in one day and it was on Heroic. Thank god I didn't spend $60 on this or I would've felt like a Brute hit me below the belt with a Gravity Hammer.

eh.. for firefight , story , and all of the halo 3 mp dlc , I didnt find it to be a bad buy.. specially since several of my friends also have it

Plus the Reach beta on the way.

Campaign wise, 1 is better than 2. In terms of game play though, 2 is much more fun.

False. Gears 1 was much better... its best parts were the kryll and the blind brute that chases you, but both of those parts were removed in 2. Plus gears 2 had the stupid un fun monster sequences and too many cinematics in between the action, as well as barely any change in the gameplay.
