Care to explain why you think it's good news to you?

Cause gay people are better than black people.

Some back when Texas does it and then it will be news

I got a similar response when I posted the 'Gay-Marriage in California' thread. Every state that does it, is good news, it shows progress. It's going to take many small steps until the more Red states like Texas do it.

I'm not like that anymore.

I've given up that fight. It was futile for me to get involed with in it in the first place. As futile as the any battle regarding that would be.

So i'd like to move on..

Shrug, I guess, but saying Connecticut did it is like saying Spike Lee got a plaque from the NAACP.

Not really, California did it and we're about to vote if it gets to stay, so even a Blue-Liberal state like California may move backwards in regards to gay-mariage/equal-rights.

This new non-angry/non-racist FoTN is better, I applaud you.

What are your thoughts on gay-marriage being legalized?

Funny, I remember you getting the response "Well DUH! It's faggoty liberal California. How can that be news?"

It might take fifty years, but eventually equality will catch on in those really Red states. That is unless America goes through some massive religious-revival and we become the Christian-Theocracy some think we should be, I say "Christian" in name only of course.

No more listening to them bitching and moaning and blocking the streets with their faggoty picket signs.

You should really just come out, your parents and friends be damned. Go for it, just suck a dick, the world will make sense to you then.

Why are you so sure its inevitable?

TX? LA? AL? MS? AZ? Don't hold your breath, man.

Because progress happens, sometimes at a crawl, but it happens. I'm not holding my breath, I said it might take 50 years; it could probably take longer.
