Thanos doesnt have to be eternal with the power to absorb the dcu. Heart>>presence. feats,son.

In fact, they would all get stomped by any entity from the cosmic hierarchy.

So who cares what they're supposed to represent,
they're power & significance is at the whim of some human writer,
just like in Marvel they may represent "GOD of the the real world"
but the human writer decided to make characters far more powerful than them.

To me,
the Presence is a character from DC they have made the Supreme being, nothing more.
