You're clearly going to stick to your guns, but remember this, TOAA is just a fictional avatar. Imploding and exploding the fourth wall is irrelevant to the fact that he is just as fictional as any other character.
He is a creation, an idea of the real life writer within a fictional universe. The fourth wall element is ultimately redundant, it is the writer talking to himself within the panels of the comic book.
They way I see it fiction should be for benefit of the readers the fourth wall nonsense isn't benefitial to me at all, just the writer. I don't want to see a conversation with the writer and himself through two fictional characters, pointless, redundant; it is all fiction anyway
You could say he is conversing with himself anyway (when a writer writes any kind of fiction), I just don't want him to interpose himself within the pages of the fiction when we (his only audience) already understands what it is (I say it again), it's redundant.
