Dude. They aren't the same. I already proved it. IN DCU, Spectre tried to destroy the world after Christ Died. In vertigo, there was no christ. Mike and lucifer were the sons of God.
In the DCU, God says everything is his creation. In Vertigo, YWH says there are external forces beyond him. That contradicts right there. Please pay attention.
