what was your very first dvd?

Matrix was my first DVD, in fact I think I read somewhere that many people actually bought DVD players for that movie alone. I still remember that the moving scene selection blew me away. My first Bluray film was The Fifth Element and my first HD DVD was King Kong, RIP. HDDVD 😛

The Matrix was mine also! First Bluray were gifts IRONMAN, Speedracer and The Hulk. I want to get the Matrix box set for bluray also would love Fifth Element one of my favorite movies! How's it look?

And, no, I'm never getting Blu Ray or HD or whatever. The only advantage to that shit is that now I can get DVDs for about £2 from used and new on Amazon.

I got my first DVD's with my PS2 when I bought it in about 2001. I got Rocky and Hollowman.

I remember it perfectly. Back in '01 I got my first DVD player. I bought 2 DVD's with it. Phantom Menace and Fight Club.

The first DVD I bought was in the spring of 1998, and it was Lethal Weapon. Wasn't a great selection at that time, as DVD was still new, as I also bought Casino and The Doors that weekend.

Not sure really maybe The Generals Daughter. I know The Sixth Sense was in the first group of DVDs I bought. It and Sitr Of Echos and Generals Daughter and Deep Blue Sea and Lake Placidand Entrapment and the art theft movie with Brosin and Russo.

Blade, at the end of 99' as a birthday present. Watched it over and over.
