I remember this year 2009 and my first dvd hallywood movies THE SQURIPION KING.

first DVD rented was Armaggedon
first owned Down to Earth

First One that I ever bought with my own $$$ was The Wizard of Oz.

I have been transfering over to Blu-Ray and that first one was The Notebook.

One of the first DVD's I watched that my parents bought was Men in Black.

the first DVD i've ever bought was..... Nutty Professor II

Antz, back in 1999. I had heard that animated movies look good on DVD, so that's the one I got. After that was Pleasantville.

Second DVD I bought was Event Horizon, talk about Scary Sh!t.

The one with Kevin Bacon about some huge worm-like creatures. Can't remember the name.

Anyhow, to answer the question, my very first DVD was Anchor Bay's double feature of Tombs Of The Blind Dead and Return Of The Blind Dead. It was around 10 or 11 bucks U.S. sometime in 2000 or 2001.

Mine was Spider Man. I got it as a Christmas present before I had a DVD player, but it worked out because I later got a PS2.
