what was your very first dvd?

Scream 1... absolutely adored the film wouldn't say it's aged that well but still a lot better than Part 3!!

My first online order was Fight Club... still one of my all time favs.

The very first DVD that I purchased was the Matrix.

I'm not sure. It was probably The Matrix. I know it was the first DVD I saw. I fell in love after that. I have so many damn DVDs now. But I have moved on to blu-ray..

My first two movies (bought them along with my first DVD player in may 1998) were:
The Game
Tomorrow Never Dies

The second I brought a DVD player I brought a badly re-soundtracked edition of Nosferatu.

Then I quickly brought Night of the Living Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Scream. The first one. My brother was an early adopter and bought a DVD player and the first Austin Powers in... 1997(?), and bought AP since it was the most interesting DVD on sale at the time. It blew my mind and ruined me for "standard" DVD menus and barebones releases. When I finally got my own player a year or so later, I got Scream, which, while a fine enough release, had a one-second delay on the menus which still bothers me.
