Kit and Obi-Wan were powerful Force adepts, but Revan if he wasn't captured might have went on to become stronger if Malak didn't try to kill him.

Major, Revan was one of the most powerful Sith Lords. Last time I got into a battle over Revan I was outshouted so I'm not gonna even try. Just google or wikipedia him up. Easier to find the evidence there.

They call him an unknown - true there is little known about him, but just because you have a high kill number doesn't mean you're super powerful. I think they overlook the fact that Revan nearly destroyed the Jedi Order and conquered the Republic. A minor Sith much less minion like Ventress can't do that.
