Yeah but I played the demo, so I believe I have a valid point...have you played MWII no........there's a difference see.....I've played Arkham and I can say it's awesome....and since i've played it....guess what?! I can have an opinion. awehawe
When you have played the demo for MWII get back to me then you won't be jumping on the hype wagon, you'll have actually played the game.
I remember when I posted that, it was in relation to the rostar of villains, it wasn't so much as a litral sense of it was getting better, but rather I really liked the direction of which they were taking with the round up of villains. But yeah I'll agree with you I always had a bit of pre-hype however you'll see i was always a little doubtful of the game and was hoping it woulden't let down, I can say from the demo that it does not.

That's all I was getting at...We're all guilty of it from time to time. I think there was a more valid reason to be skeptical of Arkham Asylum than MWII though simply because film and comic book tie in games tend to be poor but still sell well because of the character popularity in other forms of media.
I really liked the AA demo, as it happens and i'm looking forward to the game although i'm not really a Batman fan at all.
Modern Warfare, on the other hand, if you like that type of game, was and still is astounding and is still one of the most played games on XBL (don't know about PSN though as I don't have a PS3)
Thus is has some pedigree about the franchise...Although granted the developers may simply think that it'll sell by the truck load off the back of the popularity of the CoD4 regardless of whether MWII is actually any good or not.
Modern Warfare will be easily the top selling game this year and perhaps the top selling this generation (excluding WiiSport). Hell, there's been at least 2-4 games that have been delayed since they don't want to compete with MW2.
But take that aside, I'm really excited to see what the multiplayer additions will be like. I'm hoping it'll be revamp big time and something truly new. I wonder if they'll have a beta this time around.
Also, anyone got the news that MadCatz are making custom controllers for MW2?
