New casting rumor on the female roles. Pretty interesting. I really liked Green in Casino Royale.
BIG RUMOR!

"The Dark Knight Rises" is getting ready to begin filming in May and today we have two pieces of news that are once again nothing more than rumors and speculations. First, Batman-News is reporting that Bane will make an appearance in the film. No word whether the character will be another brain-dead idiot like in "Batman and Robin" or more like he is in the comics, which is strong, intelligent and responsible for paralyzing Batman. Second, Tom Hardy (Inception) has been spotted walking around with a shaved head and facial hair. While the actor is often seen with facial hair, he's not usually bald. So he's either making "Bronson 2" or getting ready to play Dr. Hugo Strange in "The Dark Knight Rises." Or maybe it's none of those. i don't believe any of that
im interested to see hardy's portrayal of bane...a strongman doing roids or what not...i was hoping for this....but i was hoping the story would be batman gets his back broken then gotham realizes how much they need batman so he is no longer a "wanted" man....that would pull him out of the predicament he was left in at the end of the dark knight
i don't know the story behind bane and batman, but did hear that bane parylized batman? is that true? if so do you think nolan will just decide to paralyize batman and be done with it?
I personly think they should of done catwoman and the riddler.
also if batman is paralyized then bruce is paralyized do people put 2 and 2 together?

I think they may make reference to Bane hurting Batman's back, but would be surprised if Bane paralyzes Batman. I just can't see them ending the movie with Bruce being immobile, and I can't see them breaking his back and then going "2 years later...." and having him redeem himself. But a back injury that puts him out a couple of days (ala Scarecrow's poison in Batman Begins)? I could see that.
