Plus, if Connor's is in control, his fighting will be terrible, the whole reason Lizard is a good fighter if because of his animalistic savagery, if Connor's is in control, he doesn't have that, and his fighting skills are sub par at best. While Ben is an accomplished boxer and street fighter.

Have you ever seen Ben using that tactic? I mean, closing his eyes? He wouldn't shut his mouth, either. You just can't turn off CIS rule, King. Unless OP stated otherwise.

In a 2004 story arc entitled "Lizard's Tale" written by Paul Jenkins in the Spectacular Spider-Man comic book, it was revealed that the Lizard persona was not a separate personality from Dr. Connors after all - Curt had been consciously controlling his reptilian alter ego all along.

Also I can't imagine Ben being good at fighting blind.

And it doesn't change the fact that while Lizards tactics may work on someone like Spidey, they more than likely won't on Ben.

And you act like he's going to just have his mouth open the whole time, and usually when him, or anybody else get's hit, they're eyes automatically close, it's a reflex. Plus, Lizard sticking his arm down his throat thing, that's highly unlikely, and even if he does do it, while his arm is in his mouth, Ben has a clear shot to rip him in half.

When he's talking trash, but in a fight, unless he's specifically talking to you, his mouths closed.

He's fighting and talking at the same time. It's within his character.

True enough, but it's within Lizard's character to run away when he knows he's beat.

If the Thing gets his hands on the Lizard, or lands a clean hit, he wins.

You can say that. But Paul Jenkins' Connors-Lizard is different story.

Unless he states it's Paul Jenkins Lizard, we're going by the standard Connors lizard, the one whose in control, but is struggling to hold on.

The standard Connors Lizard is Jenkins Lizard. We don't have another.

There is Smart Lizard, Brute Lizard and Connors Lizard.

So if he has Connors intellect, wouldn't that just make him Smart Lizard? Unless it's stated he's Connor's Lizard.

Not exactly. Smart Lizard's rather inferior to Connors' genius level intellect and tends to go berserker when he shouldn't.

Still, him being Smart would attest to him having Connor's intellect.

I know what you mean, but when people are generally speaking about "lizard with connors' intellect", they mean Jenkins Lizard. The version that was actually portrayed in the comics and which is the valid version to use in the forum debates.

Thing defeated somebody who took out She Hulk Mister Fantastic Invisible Woman and Human Torch. He took beatings from Hulk Champion and Gladiator and is still around. Lizard is not in his league in strength willpower and durability. Thing is able to breath in an acidic environment.

^That's what I've been saying, Lizard is simply not in his league.

You could say that Wolverine's not in his league, either. Doesn't change the fact that Logan has no trouble at all with taking him down. Like I said, raw power isn't everything.

But Wolverine can heal from being dropped in molten steel, and being fried down to a skeleton. I doubt Lizard can heal to that extent. Plus, Logan has claws that can cut through anything, I doubt Lizard can do that either, he can barely cut through concrete.
