No, that was a mistake by the makers of Origins, because in the other movies, the beam was strictly force. Otherwise that guard he hit would have a hole burnt in his chest. Everyone hit with the beam would have a hole burnt in them. When he blasted the water, it would have steamed up, instead of looking like it got hit with a hard impact.

Rogue's powers affects whoever she touches.
She drains abilities, period. Saying she can't absorb magic powers is like me saying that the spells don't work on the mutants because of their mutated blood.
And Kitty could phase them into something halfway, like she did Juggernaut.
And the claws got red hot. Although, it wasn't supposed to be heat transferred at all.

Origins sucked and was badly written, his beams were written as heat based. In the other movies they weren't. He never burned off anyone's clothes or skin.

Only if he's in cerebro, which he doesnt carry in his pocket. And It takes a while for them to die see X2. So voldy would block it and say see ya later when he apperates behind him. So either way he loses. So your saying she had telekenisis her whole life then suddenly only could desintigrate i completely disagree.

Heat one moment and concussive force the next. When he blasted those soldiers it was concussive based, just as when Deadpool blasted Sabretooth into the concrete.
