God exists and is a terrible and hateful being, or God does not exist.

War, in the sense of a war against evil, is clearly meant as a facet of love. Much in the same way that a doctor fighting disease is not corrupted by hatred.

Have you been a fundamentalist Christian? I have, and there is a war going on in the fundamentalist Christian mind.

No, I'm telling you the reading that I was brought up with. Frankly the use of "war" to mean something other than blind violence is hardly uncommon and was (at least in the NT) probably closer to the intended meaning.

Doesn't surprise me.

I'm not sure what you are arguing with me about. This is the quote I was responding too.

Very interesting thread, you people are very intelligent. Your asking why there is so much bloodshed and misery on Earth, the answer is very simple, distrubing & tragic , but very simple. Humanity is fodder for Sinister Forces that feed off Human Energy. There is a creator and this scenario for suffering is the byproduct of corruption, conspiracy & manipulation of the Human Races.

Everything you have been taught to believe is a lie, to get to the truth you must unlearn what you have learned, you must open your mind & do the research. We are not alone , we were never alone. There is a quite War going on between the forces of Good & Evil.

The Creator is real, do not take your lives for granted. Discover your inner abilities & powers. Always stay positive , don't swim in misery.

BTW, I asked how an ordinary joe would spend his typical day, (not night 😛). Fortunately, in God's perfect universe, one could indeed gaze at the Sun since retinas would be burnproof.

all those bright points and lines running across it are city lights and the city street grid. they were airbrushed so ppl couldnt be able to see.

And here I thought God was popping moon zits.

Incorrect.

"Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness...""

"God saw all that he had made, and it was very good."

oy donkey Shite to you friend, but that is easily explained to the fact that man was naked and less to do with man being perfect at least in the spiritual sense.

Why did God kill off every human on earth except Noah and his family?

Sounds like God F'ed up on his design, out of the millions of people on Earth at that time Noah's family were the ONLY good people left on the planet. Sounds like a big fail to me. 😉

According to the Book of Enoch, a bunch of Angels taught humans how to make metal weapons and other things they weren't supposed to and had sex(and children) with the human women. Humanity was running rampant with it's new "discoveries" and the children of the angels grew up in to giants that terrorized everything in sight. So God locked up the 200 or so Angels that caused the whole mess and sent the flood to take out the giants and bad people.

And it's not that he set out to kill everyone but Noah and his family, Noah kept telling people what God's intentions were and no one believed him. They could have gotten on the arc with Noah and the rest if they'd wanted to, but everyone thought it was a big joke until the water got so high that he had to seal the door to the arc. Can't really blame God because the people were too stupid to get in the boat until it was too late.

Ha! Reminds me of a joke.

There's a huge flood and a man is sitting on his roof. Some of his friends come by in a raft and offer him a ride. He says "No thanks God will save me." A while later a rescue boat finds him on the top of his roof and he says the same thing. An hour after that the water is over the roof and he's sitting on his chimney. A helicopter comes by and offers to help him but he says, "No thanks, God will save me." Eventually the water rises to high and he drowns after a log hits him.

When he gets to Heaven he asks God, "Why didn't you save me?"

"I sent you two boats and a helicopter! What more did you want?"

Yes you can still blame God, did God give Noah some divine proof that he was talking with God? How is the common man supposed to know Noah is not some crazed nut job who says that he talks to God out of all the others? Did Noah show some proof that the world was going to flood? Would you believe some person that you have never meet that says the world is coming to and end without some type of proof? How were the people on the other side of the world supposed to hear Noah's warning?

Also the Book of Enoch is not part of the official cannon so as far as the Bible is concerned this didn't happen.

"Official canon"?

According to whom? The book of Enoch is just as "canon" as the rest of the books.

The overwhelmingly vast majority of Christian sects do not accept Enoch as canonical.

😂 And that reminds me of this (paraphrased because I can't remember the exact quote)...
