Maybe becuz of it's conductivity, it's able to pass thru his bio aura. Superman is a very strange character. He can take hits from Doomsday and WW and CM and then get hurt by lightning. I guess that happens when you have a monthly. You can't fight World Conquerors every month.

And Thanos isn't "small being", hence why he can beat Despero with ease.
And Superman and WW can do jack shit to Galactus in any state. We are talking about a guy who eats planets.
It is more impressive feat then anything Despero has done, simple as that.

Superman and WW can't do anything to Big G in any state? and yet Lessor beings have staggarded Galactus? 😕 😕 😕 Thanos is a small being. He's not a sky father nor is he an abstract. He isn't the ruler of any planet. I fail to see where his feats put him above Despero Given the fact that Thanos wouldn't do any of those feats in the DCU.

Thanos has been a ruler of a planet full of Eternals. He is one of the major cosmics of Marvel comics. Power isn't everything, he is also smart (and has been able to take over the UNIVERSE twice). He can freely discuss with beings like Eternity, Galactus, Death, Infinity...and match power with the likes of In-Betweener. He is not small being.
And no, in the state when he was against Thanos, Superman and WW won't be able to do anything to him. Their offensive power is not equal to him at the slightest.
This all is funny, though, you still haven't stated any way Despero can beat Thanos. He can't hurt him, Thanos can hurt him.

The Spectre stated that they were two of the mightiest beings in existance. And you yet youthink they can't match a blast from Thanos? WTF. The Gaurdians and The Lords of Order and Chaos and all pantheons of Gods across the Universe have respect for DS. THanos is truly a small being. He only is becuz of Death. Having a good showing against Odin only pulls odin down to the lvl of Thanos if you ask me. Odin can and should have steam rolled Thanos. Odin can put down with the likes of SURTUR> THanos.
The Marvel Gods, Quasar, The Imperial Guard and cosmics also have respect for the likes of Warlock and Thanos.

It would if he was all out. He wasent. But that isent the point. Its how much damage he took and still got up. The guy has got serious power.
Even if Odin wasn't going all out, the fact that he had to pull out Gungnir and blast Thanos with it, and Thanos walks through the blast, grabs the spear, gets shot back, and is still relatively unscathed, is an extreme feat of durability and power. Thanos isn't crazy powerful because of Death, although she does help abit. It's because he's the kind of evil that even guys like heralds fear. He's just that damn strong.

Since Odin Clearly wasn't going out, We dont' know exactly how much power he was putting out. Thus lessoning Thanos "Feat". Odin may have been pumping out only enough power to Take down Spiderman. We'll never know since Odin wasn't going all out.
