I´m starting to see this better now, I overrated Desespero before, but Darkcrawler is right, he has only a good showing against top heros fighting like 5 year olds, its not all that great.

And Thanos better showings are of non flying bricks, fighting a jobbing Odin who could have erased Thanos with a thought, and using tech to stand up to galactus for a time.

Captain Marvel instance was a planned set-up. Assuming you're speaking of the Hawkman and Marvel vs Supes and Bats fight.

I remember him doing something like that to Superman during the Hush saga. Plus he hurt Superman here....with electricity.

It doesn't matter how much Despero Got Hurt in the battle, He himself said that he wasn't dispactched that Easily. I'm just showing what it takes to win a battle against Despero. And let's not forget that the more powerful the body, the more powerful Despero. Let's say Thanos had to fight Despero in a Daxamite Body. What would happen then? As far as the warrior feat of cutting Thanos, I was merely pointing out that Thanos as it seems, has a Wonder WOman weakness. Weak to ALl things sharp and pointy. 🙂. Claws, Axes and the like. I'm not the best debater here at all. I'm only here for one purpose. DC=Marvel.

It doesn't take Johnny Sorrow to win a battle against Despero.

And I am sorry, can Despero just choose his body here? I don't think that was the original stipulation.

And no, Thanos doesn't have weakness for pointy things...

Odin was not jobbing, he simply chose to make it a true warriors fight.

Superman and Captain Marvel and others did not use flying or speed when they fought against Despero, so moot point again.

And when he blasted Galactus, he did not use tech.

That and Tyrant

And Tyrant. The big difference is that Thanos does that kind of stuff all the time, Desespero can probably be handled differently if his oponents fought smart.

Think about Magneto vs Thor, in the Avenger battles Thor just throws his hammer as a retarded, Magneto blocks it and counter attacks. Now, Thor just needs to zap his power with the mjolmir and backhand him in the face and Magneto is done, that has happened and without PIS it would happen everytime.

One showing in a comic focused on a team where the characters dont develop their powers to win is hardly something to base one's comment.

he used the element of suprise and he used tech to endure the wrath of Big G. So his fight with Big G doesn't count. He didn't fight Big G with anything but a sucker attack and a Tech shield.

Brilliant

Despero's Original Body is stronger than The possesed ones.

It works both ways. But the Tyrant fight doesn't count for shit to me either. Since Tyrant basically was toying with everyone he fought. This was evident the entire series. The only one who even really Got Tyrant's attention was Big G. And even Big G didn't want a FORREAL fight at the time. Besides, Thanos Was using one of those orbs. We dont' know if the orb enhanced his Durabiliy and strength. We do know that he used it for something.

Where does he down him in that scan?
It doesn't even seem like it had any effect.

"SO much for that idea."

Still hurt him, and showed more power then Despero ever has. Stop whining.

Tell me again, why can't Thanos use his normal equipment? It is like I would say that Despero can't have the power of Flame of Py'tar.

And what has he done in his orginal body that is even remotely impressive?

Nowhere...but it hurts him still.

All I am saying, that using Spider-Man toppling Thanos feat in debating would be retarted, as would be using Superman getting hurt by power lines.

It doesn't matter what he's done, Tho he has owned the Jla time and again. His body is still more powerful than the possesed ones. As far as Thanos' fight with big, we will have to disagree. But I can see any numbe of characters getting in a good sucker shot and knocking big G off his feat. He's been hurt by lessor beings than THanos. Superman and WW knocked a Quantum Mechanic off his feat. I'm sure if they surpise attacked Big G, They could do that. a Green Lantern could knock big G for a loop with a surpise attack. Hell, Thor could do alot worse with a surpise attack. I'm not impressed. MOst of Thanos feats to me are an ego stroking of the character. It doesn't make sense. I am still trying to figure out how ODin, who can beat Surtur, was even troubled with such a small being like thanos. Boggles my mind.

I more or less brought up the Power Lines because it seems everyone brings up a low showing of a character in a debate against Superman, and everyone forgets the power lines.

DC knows I'm not retarded. Just insane. 😄

And I was just commenting, adding to what the other person said, naming off things that have toppled or hurt Thanos, even with his few appearances.

Gee, Juntai, what's this look of pain for?

The electricity hurt him.

To back you up, Superman has always seemed to have a weakness to electricity. Tho lately it's been less.

Yeah, I kinda noticed that Electricity seems to give him problems.
