I guess our "retailers" don't follow the same rules! 😄

They were right on with their choices. Im sure there were a few here that picked those same peoples/rings a while back.
Does Blackest Night rfequire any reading beyond GL? After IC I've only been reading Green Lantern steadily, and a Batman TPB here and there, and now my GL TPBs finally moved up to sinestro Corps and I start hearing about Blackest Night. I've been considering getting back into the main DC universe, but whenver I look at 52/Countodwn/Superbaby-Prime I die a little.
At the rate they release TPBs I'll probably have to wait a year or two until I can read Black Night, so I could actualy get back into DC by that time if it is worth it.

honestly, only GL, GLC and the actual Blackest Night book are necessary for the story. The tie ins are basically so you can see how your favourite characters are doing during BN...
Originally posted by Morridiniimo, FC was FAR better than IC - much more of a 'thinking mans' event. not to mention that the tie-ins were extremely good as well.
On a side note, how was Final Crisis? Better then IC?
...and though it wouldn't necessarily be a must, i'd recommend reading "seven soldiers" before you started reading FC itself. you'll have a better idea of the overall story that way.
Well I loved Crisis on Infinite Earths, didn't really like IC, especialy the aftermath of Superbaby Prime "punching reality" so Jason Todd is now back and a villain etc... While stuff like Identity Crisis (I think that was one of the tie-ins right?) I enjoyed.
So if I Wikipedia 52, WWIII and Countdown, what else "must" I read before FC?
