It's funny, because Blackest Night isn't even over yet and people are no doubt going to come out of the wood work and complain over Brightest Day.

thats becuz more than likely its gonna be the same thing we've seen over and over(picking up the pieces). im sure there will be requisite showings of half assed retirements(to focus on family), ppl quitting teams(going on self loathing, soul searching-do-i-still-have-what-it-takes-to-be-a-hero roadtrips), errant villains trying to be good guys, frustrated good guys becoming anti heroes, and my fave at least one influential cornerstone-ish character being brought back to life.... i Just f ****ing know that somebody--anybody is gonna treat this black ring thing like a cold virus and shake it off.. my big money is on the Martian, smaller bets on hawkman/girl..and Hawk of "H&D"...heck maybe even superman's dad

My only complaint is that why it has to be 26 issues? I thought we were done with the bi-weekly crap.

Why are people even surprised?

It honestly sounds sort of cool- the DCU becoming a brighter place. Less rape and zombies and more interesting stories. I'm all for that.

Remember the last time Didio decide that add onto a writers work instead of keeping his hands off? 😄

This is exactly what Didio and DC said was going to happen after IC came out. The DCU was going to become a "brighter" place. It's not like there wasn't plenty of time to get used to the idea.

Dr.Light made it a brighter place.
