Yes, the water at the rear of the castle. the Age Line is going to have to go around (under?) that too.
This is one of many questions posed which makes this tactic smell of fail.

Heres a thought, couldn't the clones just blow up the ground the lines drawn on? I mean, the line stops people, not blaster bolts. No line= no problem.

"Basic knowledge of each other" dude, prep is neccesasry to get the troops to be there, despite what the threadstarter was forced by your crying to change.

I'd think that after the bounce off they'd figure out about it, don't you. And that it might have something to do with the chalk. And that energy blasts> chalk.

What would the wizards do with prep anyway? They aren't techno geniuses or military leaders...
But fine. They get 2 hours to prepare for the 501st's arrival. And the 501st has no prep. They never did. They're just attacking.
Here's another one:
As the AT AT'S are disembarking, Dumbledore, Voldemort and the death eaters, while half apparating, cast Wingardium Leviosa or a hover charm on them, tips them over, no more AT AT's.
As the clones scramble to exit their fallen vehicles, Dumbles and the others cast portus on stones, sticks, hell, even twigs, and hover charm them into the AT AT's, making the clones vanish to a chosen location.
Another feasible unbeatable scenario that will go ignored. Shame.

Ignored no. Discredited...? yes.
The objective of preventing the destruction of Hogwarts would have failed as they could fire while being dropped off for all you know.
And being "half" appirated, they get "half shot to f**k".
Plus Anakin could sense their intent and force crush them.
Try again.

These ones...?

Few holes in this plan too, RJ.1) Clones have ships, at least drop ships, otherwise they're not getting there. So they could drop over that line.
2) Dumbledore has to trace the line, correct? If so, two hours isn't going to be enough, even if he makes it as small as possible by drawing it closely around the castle.
3) How does Dumbledore know the range specifications of the Clones weapons, all their weapons?

If the ships actually land, it's what I said before, wingardium leviosa, the AT AT's are tipped over, the clones are pwned by hover charmed portkeys.
If the AT AT's are dropped from the air, like on repulsorlifts or somehting of the sort, then the wizards portus an object as small as a twig, hover charm it into the drop ships, easy cheesy. And if any AT AT's make it out of the ships before the ships vanish, same thing, portus, hover charm a rock into the AT AT, end battle.
Counter, please.
