501st vs. Hogwarts

Here's a scenario for you....

The ground/surrounding forest outside Hogwarts is turned into one giant portkey by making portkeys out of rocks, trees, and other objects. Hell, even the doors to hogwarts and the walls are made into portkeys. To gain access to the castle, or to even venture within firing range of the castle, one MUST venture across these portkeys. The apparating wizards apparate away and side apparate away the younger wizards and LOL as one by one the clones and all their vehicles are portkeyed to the middle of the ocean. Blub blub blub. Say hello to Davy Jones.

Suck on that.

All I see is bitching and moaning, I see no countering, nothing on how the Clones combat this. Fanboy this, high orbit that, blah blah blah, this is a ground battle, clones trying to seize the castle, NOT destroy it.

The wizards are gonna be ready for the clones, they are gonna have portkeys in place before the battle begins. All one needs to do is target an object and whisper "portus", and there it is, instant portkey. And if the wizards are caught off guard, if the clones are advancing towards the castle, then all the wizards need to do is target the ground the troopers are walking on and portkey them. It's beautiful. Not saying the wizards dont take any damage, but the clones are defeated in less than a minute here.

For the record, every one of you know I am much more of a SW fan than a HP fan, so stop the fanboy bullshit, it's pathetic. It's just that I see wizardry and it's powers and recognize that the clones are way outclassed here.

Like all other hogwarts battles here, the enemy must know where the castle is for the battle to take place. I was merely pointing out a flaw in the battle plan. But hey, I am willing to overlook it now.

If it were me, I'd send them a damn e mail telling them where Hogwarts is and when they show up and portkeyed into the ocean, I laugh my ass off as they sleep with the fishes. Clones swimming in full armor haermm RIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT 🙄

They are shown in the clonewars cartoon to have amphibious divisions.
Also, the clone trooper armour is shown to be atmospherically tight too. Hard for water to mess em up. Also it seems that Stormtrooper and Clonetrooper armour is lighter than the lead you seem to imagine it to be.

But since Hogwarts'll be blasted by at at fire (ground force) and levelled, the water'll be a moot point anyway.

The OP states that the clones launch an attack on the school, it doesn't mention anything about before hand. And forum rules state that prep has to be stated, not assumed.

How are the clones gonna blast the castle? They are trying to SEIZE the castle, NOT destroy it. Even if they do try and blast it to shit, they will never get within firing range, the portkeys will pwn them.

Someone posted earlier clone blasters have a range of 100 meters. Thats 328 feet, less than an NFL football field. It'd be child's play for the wizards to cast portkeys out that far, even farther.

in order to this the wizards would have to take steps to do all of this and would have to know the clones are coming. do you know what this is? this is called "prep". knowing of an attack and taking steps to fortify a position is called "preparation", AKA "prep".

the thread starter does not say that Hogwarts gets prep. thus your entire argument about them turning everything into port keyes falls flat on its ass. they cant start turning things into port keyes until the clones are literally kicking down their doors and shooting the students at which point itll be too late.

So the clones attack from 10 k out, Dumbles and the other wizards who can half apparate can fly around and target the ground the clones are on, or target the DC-15's, portus them, and bye bye clones. The clones could attack from half a world away, still wouldnt make a difference.

See, thats the beauty of portkeys, there is no limitations on what can be used as a portkey. Tree, ground, blaster rifle, soda can. All can be used as portkeys.
