STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Liberator

Then you find old Senator Darcil of Kent V with his retinue waiting just outside the door of the lecture hall, talking loudly with an aide.

"My doubts are high regarding the Kylugo Srum!" Darcil is saying. "Senator Farl is playing them up again and he knows what..."

When you approach, he stops.

"Can I help you?"

"Yes, Senator Darcil," Wentar says, with a small bow. "I'm Wentar Reiua, of the Jedi Order. I was wonder if I could talk to you... in private, if you don't mind."

"What about?" Darcil asks.

"I wont lie to you Senator," Wentar says, taking a gamble. "I want to talk to you about the recent attacks made against Senator Farl."

Senator Darcil laughs.

"What about them?" he scoffs. "He doesn't think I'm behind it, does it? Paranoid git."

"Honestly, I was probably the one who put the though in his head, after the last few attacks even I've grown a bit paranoid myself," Wentar says. "Tell me, what have you heard about these attacks Senator?"

Alright, I think I should blow a force point on Scan, hopefully letting me know his true feelings about the attacks on Farl.

Consider it spent! Darcil seems rather annoyed that you're bothering him about this, of all people.

"Slandering my good name to the Senator who already dislikes my views, hmm?" Darcil responds. "I don't see why I should say anything at all to you, Jedi."

"I assure you it wasn't anything personal," Wentar says, trying to salvage the situation. "I was only talking to him about people who'd have anything against him."

"So Garys Farl took what you said and ran with it," Senator Darcil says. "Wonderful. I can tell you right now that I've only heard what the news has been saying. Anything else is just babble amongst the Senators of this Committee."

"What have the other Senators of the Committee been saying?"

"Slavers," Darcil says. "Getting back at Farl for what few efforts he has made. He has been driving his campaign against the Kylugo Srum for some time now and it is widely publicized."

"Why is Senator Farl so focused on the Kylugo Srum?" Wentar asks.

"He believes they pose a greater threat to Republic security," Darcil says, "as I'm sure you heard during his schpiel. There are other, more visibly active groups out there that the Committee should be working against, however."

"It's true," Wentar says. "Thank you for your time Senator."

I have a feeling this train of thought is getting me nowhere.

Senator Darcil does not give so much as a goodbye before moving away from you.

Are you going to interview Senator Bremack?

It's only fair, wouldn't want Darcil to think I just singled him out now do I.

That's thinking politically.

Senator Bremack is actually on her way to the landing pad when you find her. She seems less insulted than Darcil, but nonetheless you sense annoyance at her delay.

"How can I help you, Jedi?" she asks, politely.

"Greetings, Senator Bremack," Wentar says with a bow. "I wish to ask you what you know about these attacks against Senator Farl."

"The attempts on his life?" Bremack says. "Not much, I am afraid. I trust you are the Jedi that stopped them?"

"I am," Wentar says. "Not the easiest of assignments I've very had. These assassins are quite persistent."
