FIREFLY RPG - Episode 0 - Prologue

Ak! I'm too slow!

Last turn, move up close and attack a mook.

This turn, a close up shot at Hijacker B please.

"That'll do it. The xiongmeng de kuangren will live, long as we keep an eye on him."

Finally, Kenneth with administer a muscle relaxant to keep Phillip from being able to move even after he wakes... to make sure the patient doesn't injure himself, of course.

Toki will aim at a mook attacking him, while going for cover himself. He's going for a debilitating shot in case they were able to question them later.

Marina shoots at another mook, wanting to clear out the maintenance corridor as quickly as she can.

Quick note- I have been counting the boarders' submachine guns as having a base damage of 3, rather than 2. Everyone can have 5 damage docked from their current state.

Another tie for initiative means it goes to the boarding party this turn. Two attacks on everyone, and the supermooks going after everyone but Alan. Damage is steep this turn; Gabriel takes 12 damage, Shaftoe takes 13 damage, Marina and Toki and Alan all take 3 damage each. No defensive bonuses are triggered.

The focus is now on Gabriel and Alan as they march into the midst of the boarding party with their shotguns. With CQG, the pointblank bonus of the shotgun, and the MKP, Gabe rolls sixteen dice in his attacks, blowing away two boarders with ease. Alan tries to follow his example (last turn injuring a mook) by marching up to Hijacker B and blasting away. Alan scores a hit for 4 damage.

Marina misses her target, then rapidly reloads her revolver. Toki wounds his.

Hijacker A does not quite meet his end just yet, though Shaftoe shoots him for 5 damage.

Well with the mooks almost done, I will move towards A and fire again, looking to take him out.

"Ok, so our good friend the mole is subdued and healed... what do we do now?", Christopher asks Kenneth. His sole focus on Phillip meant he pretty much missed any notices to go shoot other hijackers.

Consider Phillip totally pacified, Kenneth. He should come to in a few minutes.

Those in the infirmary can hear the rattle and roar of gunfire and bullets above them.

-

Gan Ying lurches forward as the pulse drive suddenly kicks in and roars to life, pulling away from the pirate vessel.

Harmony, the weapons systems are offline too. For rolling purposes, those are separated into forward guns and turrets.

I want to swap in Lightning Reload and Tap it and attack more mooks.

As a reminder, you can't use it LR until next turn.

Well that was a bad idea. Alan with instead shoot a damaged mook this time.

"We wait for him to wake up and find out what exactly is going on," Nadra replies, looking up at the noise from the fight above them.

"Unless either of you wanna go up there and give me more work," Kenneth adds, leaning back.

While he's not averse to helping defend the Gan Ying, Kenneth figures that the dedicated muscle can handle it.

Nadra simply looks over at Kenneth and raises an eyebrow, implying he is insane to suggest that.

"We're moving, Captain!" Harmony intercoms. "It looks like our hacker got into the weapons systems, too. I'll try to get them back online, but I doubt those pirates will be able to catch up to us any time soon... Should I get our propulsion fully operational first, sir?"

Until she gets a response, Harmony will continue to try and fix the drives- this time reaction thrusters, before she attempts to repair hard burn.

Marina quickly reloads her pistol before firing off a shot at a mook, then tapping Lightning Reload to get a second shot at another mook in her effort to clear out the goons. Swap LR for Eagle Eye!

And Rex, are you counting my first successes as double? I feel like maybe you aren't...

"Great. More fighting", Christopher said as he heard the gunshots from overhead.

"I'd go help, but I don't have my gun, or even know where it would be."

Oh right, well then I will tap eagle eye this round and swap in lighting reload at the end of the turn for it.

Tapping Eagle Eye against regular mooks wouldn't do much, as they do not take damage. But against a Supermook, as Shaftoe has shown, it'd be a very lethal hit.

Hmm, that's true, My plan was to tap eagle eye and carnival of carnage and attack all the supermooks, but I think I wouldn't have enough ammo (I still don't quite understand the ammo system).

So I guess I will tap eagle eye and swap it out for lighting reload and target two supermooks.
