Not true, both Cap and Adam were invulnerable in Earth S, but Cap was weaker outside of it. That's why Superman was able to KO Cap, because being on Earth 2 reduced his durability and stamina from infinite to roughly PC Supes range.
And even so, Cap could have finished Superman with his magic lightning, but the Wizard Shazam told him not to at the last moment, as Cap shook off the magic that was causing them to fight, but Supes was affected and defeating Cap would break it..
Cap and adam only fought superman after Kryptonite nevermore storyline where superman's powers were halved or superman was totally invulnerable too. Just look at the first fight between mon-el and superboy where both were unable to harm each other. The true silver age superman was above marvels. Like I said it would only take a look and super-hypnotism rocks both marvel and adam.
Yes in comics it's PC adam> PC superman>= PC cap, but in forums where superman would use all his powers to their fullest extent, it's only a look and both adam and marvel are hypnotised, instructed to say wizard's name and knocked out before anyone can notice. Adam and marvel never showed the ability to coat their hands in lightning and shazam bolts, please PC superman could vibrate between the space between RED SUN LIGHT. He was far, far faster than light and vibrated out of flash's grip many times, they could never hold him if wants.
there were times when MANY characters were above pc superman. that's the thing with pc supes--his powers and power level were specifically driven by plot. so while in one issue he's getting beat up by he-man and both he and marvel are having trouble with adam 2 on 1, in another issue he does things that make it seem like he would demolish adam easily on his own, or he-man. very difficult to say anything definitive based on some of those fights imo. pc superman--if needed--was more powerful than pretty well anyone though.
