I definitly want the last word, I've only been saying it in every single post. read much? You are wrong, and yet to prove a single point that you have made.
That's too bad because facts and reality are against you🙂 But since you've been owned and now you've elected the route of self pwnage, I'll dumb it down for you..
1. You want me to prove Revan's specific abilities as it relates to a combat scenario.
2. I asserted AND proved that Revan is both powerful and highly knowledgeable, but his specific powers are irrelevant because this isn't a combat scenario.
3. You didn't have any kind of an argument nor rebuttal for this so you elected to troll and make outlandish statements such as "Korriban has no knowledge."
Conclusion: I win, you lose. Keep crying.

You replied in the same damn minute. That's wanting to have the last word.
He will wait a little while now before replying, because you pointed out the times to him. He did exactly the same thing last night, if you read back. Made the same claim, had the same fact that his replies were exactly the same times as mine, and began to wait longer between posts.

Actually unlike you, I don't have to live a lie. If I happen to see your post and reply, I do. It's still nowhere near as pathetic as your 30 second replies. But again, keep humoring me.

This is clearly meant to be sarcastic, which is why you've failed yet again. It is quite possible for someone to point out a failure of logic (or charge someone with double standards or idiocy) without taking a definite position on the topic at hand. If you say that the derivative of X is applie pie and I say that you're wrong it does not meant that I have worked out the problem. So, try again.
I've said this to you
This is a pet peeve of mine: Declaring victory seems like a weak way to go about an argument. DS, you've used this tactic, Gideon has used it, and now TJ has too. The decision of a victor is quite clearly not up to you- one engaged in debate is hardly the most objective source.
As best as I can understand it, TJ has demanded that you substantiate the learning Revan acquired on Malachor and Korriban. (Sp?) You have refused.
This is wise, since that is impossible at this point. Moreover, your point that we know Revan learned something stands- it is yet another nebulous accolade for Legend to throw up.
We know he's powerful. We know he learned from Malachor.
What we do not know is how powerful, or what he learned. This is why we don't use him in threads.
From my position the score stands like this:
DS: point for backing Revan- we know that he grew powerful from these finds
TJ: point for pointing out that the power is unquantified and unusable on KMCDS seems to have kept his composure a little better, especially since it was TJ that invoked doing it for the lulz as an excuse. Also: the timeline confusion about when Korriban was emptied reflected poorly on his argument. It seems like his contention (that we don't know and can't use what Revan learned) was accurate, but that DS was correct on each issue as it came up.
I'm posting now in order to stem further usage of the phrase 'you're done'. It is insulting to the recipient and makes the speaker look bad. (It is a failing of both patience and ability to respond. Neither of those reflect well.)
Am I missing anything? [/B]
Just this from the battle bar, in response to something DS said.

I'm living a lie now? Another claim? You have any intention of PROVING that? I am doing EXACTLY what I have said i would do. At this point, it is an excercise in patience, more than anything else.
I figured when I was simply denying you the last word became clear, you would finally quit, Like ANYONE else in your situation would. I would have long ago if i weren't specifically trying to find out if it is possible for you to walk away. I'm starting to think it is a psychological thing. Getting the last word makes you feel better about yourself, doesn't it? You are a shouter when you argue i bet. (notice i don't claim its fact, so i don't have to substantiate it) Being careful in what you claim as fact, instead of what you claim as your opinion is one of the things you will need to learn if you ever intend to debate properly.
You still haven't proved anything you have said. At the VERY least, you should at least say why you should be believed without proof. Surely there is SOME reason you think you can just say something, and it is so.
TJ, do you know what your objective is?
This has moved beyond the debate about Revan (which was the original topic of my question). Do you know what you want to walk away with? If the answer is no, then you should take a step back and figure it out. If the answer is yes then you ought to examine your tactics and see if this is going to get it.
I often get caught up in the 'no u'ing and forget that I have an objective. Stick to your objective.

In order to save you reading these last pages of stupidity, the original exchange was actually quite good. He made several claims though, that he cannot back up, and used them to support other parts of his argument. I asked him to back them up, he went immediately to insulting me for not believing him. He used the word idiot in several paragraphs, ridiculous, several others, (I can post it if you are actually curious.) After spending the time I did backing him into a corner, this angered me that his response was thus.
So my objective:
What I want him to do, is stop making claims that he cannot prove, then reverting to insults when asked to back up those claims. That is how this forum has always worked: Don't make a claim unless you can back it up with evidence from a canon source.
He cannot prove that Revan was second only to Sidious, yet he goes so far as to call ridiculous anyone who believes otherwise.
When he disregarded my posts, to turn it into a flame war, It made me angry, and for once i decided to respond in kind. You would be hard-pressed to find one other place on the forums where i have reacted similarly, so leave me this one indulgence.
good point. Thanks for the post right before that one. I think i needed that. I started out trying to prove a point about his need for the last word, but it became ridiculous after awhile.
DS, the next post of yours, gives you the last word. I give up, one cannot out troll post you, even when they try. My congrats.
Spoiler:
You will be on ignore from here on out though. No offense, we just don't believe the same things about debating, proof, and the burden thereof, and we waste each other's time.

Next, what you and TJ fail to realize is that if you state a statement is wrong you have already taken a definite position. The fact that you do not understand this is why you and his argument failed. Why state something is wrong or incorrect without any proof to do so? You could simply state you are not sure and would have to look further into the statement made.
Person A states: “Revan is powerful”
Person B states: “Prove it”
Person A states: “As a Sith he rule over thousands Sith and was the proclaim Sith Lord of his era. Only the strongest rule the Sith.”
Person B states: “How do we know the Sith he rule over were not weak?”
A definite position is taken by Person B one of opposition to the statement that Revan is powerful because he feels there is no way to prove Revan is powerful.
Now if Person B wanted to simply state that the facts are not enough for him that would be fine. But to argue by questioning every fact that is known about Revan without making any type of argument yourself, and state that they are not claiming to have a point is simply a person who is either totally ignorant or has something against the character Revan.

Wrong again as usual. Please tell me what is the failure of logic that was pointed out? See the sarcastic statement was not a direct statement but instead one that was supporting a line of thought. Thus it is the line of thought that should have been in question.Next, what you and TJ fail to realize is that if you state a statement is wrong you have already taken a definite position.
